If you only drop your tablet once , it just paid it self off, its very well made you can feel the quality in its materials used , feels rugged , durable , like it can withstand whatever you can throw at it , just the peace of mind is worth the price , not to mention the cost of replacing your tablet without this type of protection far exceeds the cost of the otterbox, so its a no brainer, buy a new tablet every time it falls or buy the otterbox once & save yourself some money .

This Otterbox case fits my tabA 9.7 perfectly. The quality of the plastic is outstanding. Im flabbergasted that something of this quality can be purchased for around $15.00. The speaker openings concerned me because the speakers are set deep in the case, but the speakers seem to resonate in this case and sound better than ever.

I dont like that the stand part is separate, it is very awkward to set it up. The screen protector scratches easily. I would say it probably protects the tablet from drop damage. It is difficult to press the volume buttons up and down.
