Beware this Smart plug is not compatible with the Smart Life app. I have all of my smart devices paired with the smart life app that integrates with Alexa or Google. Its nice having everything in one place. In order to configure this plug you must use the meross app. After its configured you can share it with Alexa using skills. Im disappointed in this design. It suck having to use a separate app just for this plug. Otherwise it works as described.

Weve used it to control our patio lights . I have zero complaints about the hardware. Setup is easy, especially if youve used any other Meross device. The dimmer is very useful, as the lights are almost never needed at a full 100%. For instance, setting the dimmer as low as possible can keep the lights looking pretty, keep enough light to avoid tripping over anything, all while throwing less light to distract from an outdoor projector.

We have Christmas tree lights strung around the porch ceiling that we turn on and off every evening. We have two steps down from the house to the porch, and my husband recently complained that it was getting difficult for him to go out to plug in and unplug the porch lights every evening. About 6 months ago we got fiber optic internet and our first Alexa, so I bought my husband this smart plug. It took a bit to get it connected to our wifi, but once we did, we love it. Now he just says, Alexa, turn on the porch lights, and, BAM... theyre on! He can turn them off again just as easily. Hes thrilled with this plug. I hope it continues to work well for a long time to come.

I bought this as a dimmer, not needing the Outdoor rating; simply because I couldnt find any SmartHome indoor dimmer units that werent switch box/wall mounts. Im using it to dim, i.e., turn down the level of a Kombucha warmer mat, that I converted into a mouse pad warmer, for winter usage. Works right fine. The software also integrates well into the Samsung Smart Things ph app, that I use to control it. Timer function to turn off after a (customizable) specified period also works well. Recommended w/o reservation.

I bought this so I wouldnt have to go outside to turn off my holiday lights/decorations especially in the winter. I love that it not only has a timer feature but you can also turn it off/on and adjust the timer on your phone. Exactly what I was looking for!

Easy Setup. Works just like instructed.

Smart plug worked better than I expected. The plugs are covered with a silicone type material when they are not all being used. Wifi worked well especially since my router is quite a ways away and through brick walls. The initial set up was easy, but it took a little extra effort to integrate with Alexa. Id recommend doing the initial set up inside. You can independently turn on and off each socket. There is also a manual on/off button on the unit as well as a small light. So much easier and convenient to use than non-wifi timers. Great for holiday lights.

The plug works great! Super easy to set up. Love that I can control it from my phone. I purchased this for the timer feature, but sadly that part doesn’t work. Otherwise, a great outdoor plug.
