> 24 hourI was having trouble setting this up, so I opened the wifi control panel on my android phone. I noticed that the device itself was hosting a wifi network. So I connected to that, the app asked me for my home networks password, and bam all done. I dont like the fact that you have to create an account with meross in order to set it up, though. I do like the fact that you can create a widget with the app to control the individual outlets. Much handier than having to open the app, as I will potentially be using this while driving my class B RV.

> 24 hourSo this smart plug works great set it up to use with the Christmas lights but there is one flaw in alexa routines it only sees it as 1 plug so it turns them all on and off at the same time. If you want individual control you need to use the meross app. But other then that it dose what it needs to do.

> 24 hourSmart plug worked better than I expected. The plugs are covered with a silicone type material when they are not all being used. Wifi worked well especially since my router is quite a ways away and through brick walls. The initial set up was easy, but it took a little extra effort to integrate with Alexa. Id recommend doing the initial set up inside. You can independently turn on and off each socket. There is also a manual on/off button on the unit as well as a small light. So much easier and convenient to use than non-wifi timers. Great for holiday lights.

> 24 hourConnects easy to app - Im using with Home assistant, the integration works. I dont like cloud based smart plugs, will replace when a find a local control plug.

> 24 hourI bought this as a dimmer, not needing the Outdoor rating; simply because I couldnt find any SmartHome indoor dimmer units that werent switch box/wall mounts. Im using it to dim, i.e., turn down the level of a Kombucha warmer mat, that I converted into a mouse pad warmer, for winter usage. Works right fine. The software also integrates well into the Samsung Smart Things ph app, that I use to control it. Timer function to turn off after a (customizable) specified period also works well. Recommended w/o reservation.

> 24 hourI shouldn’t be so excited about these but I am. We bought 2, were able to name each outlet to identify what it was running, and then set schedules or turn on/off when needed, all from the app. We’ve only had them a couple weeks, but so far, so great.

> 24 hourVery easy to set up. I like the feature there are 3 independent outlets, you can turn each one on/off individually anywhere you have the connection. I use it in the garage, so IP44 works fine for me.

> 24 hourBought this to replace an older outdoor timer that stopped working. Very pleased with 3 outlets. Lights up my outdoor decorations and was easy to put on my Alexa app to schedule on and off times.

> 24 hourBeware this Smart plug is not compatible with the Smart Life app. I have all of my smart devices paired with the smart life app that integrates with Alexa or Google. Its nice having everything in one place. In order to configure this plug you must use the meross app. After its configured you can share it with Alexa using skills. Im disappointed in this design. It suck having to use a separate app just for this plug. Otherwise it works as described.
