> 3 dayYour child will not be able to get these out. Maybe I’m not using them right, but even I struggle when taking them out. But they do the job!

> 3 dayThis product is like any other child proofing selection where eventually its needed. Plugging it in initially is easy and taking it out is hard. It does get a little easier overtime but not enough for a child to remove easily. Yes there is a tab but its still tough at first. Most plugs in the household around the country are identical, but of course not all plugs are the same so make sure it looks like it will fit before purchasing them.

> 3 dayMy husband and I had to use a plastic letter opener and much wedging and pulling to get these back out of the socket. We were actually worried part of it might break off given the amount of force it finally took to get it out. We dont have any problem plugging and unplugging our standard 3-prong plug appliances. I get that youre child-proofing for safety but these are adult-proof too, my fingers will never be able to just pull this out, I think the tab would break off. Unless we wanted to permanently plug the socket these are of no use to us Update - after clipping the ground post to about half the length with wire cutters and filing them smooth (following other reviewers hints) they work ok - they are too loose for child safety but we are using them for insulation so they just need to fit well enough to stay in. > 3 dayIt is a little hard to get these out of the socket but I like that these have a mini handle to help pull them out easier. So these may be adult proof but that’s fine because that means my baby definitely can’t get them out.

Greater than one weekSometimes they are even hard for me to remove. They are easy to install and really useful

> 3 dayI like these because you cant see the outlet thru them which makes my toddlers even less interested lol. And they are difficult for them to remove, so it does the job.

> 3 dayWell if you want to be sure the kids won’t get to the sockets ... this is it! I had to use a screwdriver to pry it off !! Then I figured out the trick and it was easier . I don’t mind the challenge because that means the kids won’t get hurt Totally child proof and adult proof ! Would recommend

Me myself and I
Greater than one weekThese are the best baby outlet covers Ive used. They have a bottom part that you have to slide down, then pull out. Sliding it down is quite difficult - I can barely do it, so I doubt a baby/toddler would be able to (although some of those little buggers can do things adults cant, for sure!) What I really like about these, over the other ones Ive used, is that you can leave the bottom part open (down), thus making it easier for ME to open while still covering the outlet. So it takes away the curiosity of the child to stick their fingers in the outlet, but I can remove it without breaking my (sadly brittle and/or nonexistent) nails. This gives me the very convenient option of making the outlets I never use completely impossible to access, while leaving the ones I often use covered but possible to open. For this reason, these are now my absolute favorite outlet covers ever. The quality is good and they seem durable as well. They also arrived more quickly than I had expected, which was nice.
