> 3 dayI had read about all the lines on the images from other reviewers. Given its poor Amazon rating the price dropped to $29. I wanted a cheap way to scan receipts, and didn;t care about scans having lines on them (I have a Canon large format scanner I use when quality is important). Sadly the scanner was Dead On Arrival. I returned for a refund.

> 3 dayVery easy to use right out of the box. I liked the way it works. You just insert the photo and it automatically saves it to the SD card. I got the same white lines on every photo I scanned that everyone else is talking about. I tried to calibrate the unit a few times but it did not improve. I would consider buying again if they fixed that problem but I had to return it.

> 3 dayThis scanner leaves lines on the picture. At times the photo will hesitate to completely go through the scanner. It will not scan Polaroid pictures because they are too thick.

> 3 dayIt did not work at all ..there were lines all through the photo and it was causing scratches as well ..if I had the missing cleaning sheet to clean it ..I would give it more stars

> 3 dayIm puzzled by all the bad reviews and lines reported in the scanned photos. Mine does a wonderful job of scanning 4x6 photos exactly as they are. I did buy mine through Woot, so I dont know if it was reconditioned at the great price I paid, but it is fun and quick to send 50 year old pictures from my photo albums to family and friends as attachements or printed out on snapfish or one of the other services.

> 3 dayI bought this to scan photos - of course. After approximately 30 photos, the scanner needs to be recalibrated. You are also supposed to be able to view the pics as scan them, but I cant. The File Explorer window CLOSES every time you scan. You have to go back in each time. I was waiting until after I scanned a batch at a time. After about 30 photos, you have to unplug, clean the machine, then calibrate it. Its a shame. I was looking forward to using this. Dont waste your money. Just use a regular document scanner instead.

> 3 dayTotally unusable. All photos have insane streaks. Tried cleaning both manually and with compressed air. Nothing helped.

> 3 dayI love this scanner. All of us who have boxes of old photos and dont want to spend tons of time scanning each one on a flatbed scanner are thrilled with this excellent option. You dont even need a PC. It scans right onto an SD memor card or directly to your PC through a USB. I am pleased with the results. Quick. Easy and in 10 minutes I saved an entire photo album and can now burn copies of old family photos onto CDs for my family members. Love it
