I work as a home health aid and this is a life saver ! Older clients hate being cold and always have their houses at 80. So needless to say before getting this fan I was dying with how hot it was. Now with this fan I am able to be comfortable while working in a hot house . Life saver . Also if the battery happens to die when your at work you can plug it in and use a potable charger and it still works !

I love this product. I work hard and its gets hot. I wear this and no more overheating. This keeps me cool during the hottest of times and its so light and quiet that it doesnt interfere with my work. I dont know why it took me so long to buy. Get it tomorrow and say goodbye to all those uncomfortable nights.

The overall design and look is very sleek and comfortable. And a few people thought I was just wearing headphones. The three speed options work well, and based off the times I’ve used it thus far, the battery has lasted through each occasion/event (3-6 hrs). And it varies on the speed of course, but I find it to be very quiet. Even on the highest setting, though it sounds louder being right next to your own ears, did not effect anyone around me. Lastly, the ability to move around; do yard work, etc., and not have to worry about where to place or hold your fan, was awesome. With all of that said, I don’t think this is the one for me. And I’m really disappointed because I thought this would be the last personal fan I ever had to buy. I have to admit, some of the days I used it, we were experiencing record breaking heat (Northern VA in May!). And, I understand, no fan is going to help when it’s 98 degrees and feels well over a 100. But I had high hopes that it would give me some relief. I was volunteering at an event outside, but after 10min, my neck was sweaty from where the fan was resting. And even on the highest setting, I felt no relief. I tried it two more times over the next week with milder temperatures, but was still underwhelmed with the output and bothered with the sweaty neck part. This probably works great for many others, but I tend to be on the “warmer side” normally and this just doesn’t fit the bill for me.

I have a medical condition that doesnt allow me to be out in the heat for extended lengths of time. I decided to get these neck fans for the times I am out. I bought these because of the positive reviews and for the fact that the fan units dont appear to appear to extend far out away from your neck like some others do. I thought those might get in my way when leaning over to examine things. Delivered quickly. They did fit comfortably around my size 16 1/2 neck and they were partially charged when I received them. Put them on and pushed the button. Since I was indoors, they blew cool air all around my neck. Some went on my chin and up a little on my face and around the back of my neck. Felt great! That was the low setting. The medium and high settings blew more volume but not higher up on my face or neck. The low setting isnt loud at all, you can barely hear it. It gets louder each time you increase the fan speed but its not uncomfortable. Still, they did seem to cool me. Outside, they blow whatever temperature the ambient air is. They do cool your neck because as they blow across your skin that is moistened by sweat, the sweat evaporates, thereby cooling you. Kind of like the swamp cooler effect. One thing, though, the air outlets around the neck fan are on the inner, upper edge, angled upward toward your neck. If youre like me, overweight and have a neck roll, the roll will block the outlets if you raise you head or lean it left or right. I guess because this is a smaller unit. They are very light and pretty unobtrusive. The fans units are closer to my neck and do touch my chin when I look down at my feet but the fans dont get blocked. Ive used them 4-5 times for about an hour each time and they are still on the original charge. ( I fully charged them shortly after trying them on). Overall, I probably should have tried one of the larger neck fans, but this seems to keep my neck and lower part of my head cool for the times Im outside. If it really humid, hot and sunny you can still get overheated from direct sun exposure, so be careful!.

I bought this next fan to take to an author convention this year. I was warned that it gets hot when youre standing in line to get an authors autograph and they werent kidding!! This fan kept me nice and comfortable the whole time!!

My son and husband are very hot blooded people. My son hates to be hot and my husband has suffered heat stroke so many times. I bought one to see how it worked but I think Im going to have to buy another one so they each have one. It keeps them cool and keeps the bugs away from their face. Its kinda noisy but what fan isnt on high speed. Ill have to see how well it works on a really hot day.

Bought this fan for my wife. She is a phlebotomist at a plasma center. She has to wear a coat plus face shield, gloves etc. Normally she overheats/sweats if she sneezes too hard. So she has been struggling with the extra layers at work. I bought the fan and she absolutely loved it! She had it in low and it lasted her 8 hours( with a 30 minute charge while on lunch). She used it her whole shift one day forgot to charge it that night. The next day she used it for 2 hours in medium speed- charged it during her lunch- and used it on high til it died. It died after 2 hours. So it lasted without a charge 4 hours, the battery life is pretty good! Would definitely buy again!

While browsing through Amazon for a good portable fan I started reading reviews before I purchased. I stumbled across this bad boy and decided to give it a go. The cooling fan arrived right at the time of yet another California heat wave so I was excited to test it out. While out for work I tested my fan and to my delight I felt a nice slight breeze towards my neck and face. It was refreshing. Not reading any instructions beforehand I discovered a second speed and that was a game changer. I wasn’t expecting the comfort of sticking my head in the freezer but I do have a really comfortable breeze that makes a heat wave more bearable.
