The corner of the box was chipped and a couple spots were not even black in color (I chose the black colored box). The one nice part was that the door to it was the complete size of the box so I didnt have to actually take the ashes out of the container they were shipped in. I was able to fit the whole container in the memorial box itself! Which is nice because if it were to fall or get dropped, Im sure it would break apart because of how flimsy it seems. Therefore, now I know the ashes will still be secured in the container that is within the box.

With other containers, you have to glue the picture in order for it to stay in. No thanks. It is high quality wood and we wanted only the best for our beloved Mei-Lin.

> 3 dayI purchased these on a lightning deal. I had been looking at ones for around 100.00 and these were about 25.00. I wasnt expecting them to be anywhere near what I had been looking at. When they arrived, I was shocked at how well built and beautiful they were. The slot for the picture of your pet is small and only has a plastic covering, but for the price, it cant be beat. The engraving is nicely done. I have one in mahogany and light wood. The fit my 85 and 70 lbs Golden Retrievers tight, but fine. Sad I had to make the purchase, but very happy with the boxes quality.
