Petzl NOCTILIGHT Headlamp Case - Protective Carrying Case for Compact Petzl Headlamps That Diffuses Light Into Lantern Mode

Great idea. I use my Petzl all the time for tasks around the house as well as my forays into the woods. With this device, though, Ive discovered much more functionality. I cant wait to use it on my next camping trip in April.

The Black Diamond headlamp fits nicely in this lantern case. I hung it from the top of my tent and was very pleased with both the white and red-light illumination. It is really beneficial if more than one person in your tent that needs light vs wearing a headlamp or propping a headlamp on your bag.

Very versatile and extremely handy. Bought it for camping, and ended up using it the first time when the power went out during a thunderstorm. The next day was using it while working on my jeep. It diffuses the light from the headlamp very well. Giving an area more diffused light than the headlamp by itself. Using an opaque/frosted dome, to diffuse the light. Clever design. Well made. Expect years of issue-free use.

We brought the Petzl Noctilight while hiking the Northville-Placid Trail. This conspicuous, lightweight lantern illuminated the darkest campsites and could be adjusted to hang inside our tent as we previewed our guidebook for the next day. The lantern threw plenty of light and could easily be adjusted using the controls on our headlamps without removing them from the lantern. We still use it at home on our screened-in porch!

Love it. It makes my Petzel headlamp into a teeny tiny lantern. It has an elastic strap that you can put around a tent pole or whatever.

Nice build quality and diffusion of light. Nice and easy to depress on/off switch, shock cord hanger wraps up nicely and easy to stow. Very happy with purchase.

I havent tried it yet in the mountain, but as far as I tried at home, this lamp case reflects the light in perfect way, so you can use for Petzl flashlight as a camping lamp. and its a Petzl original product, so quality is assured. update: used it in the top of a volcano I hiked during the night,m it was awesome to see the regular petzl flashlight becomes a lamp. 2 thumbs up!!

Light weight but made of heavy material, seems durable. Really handy to have around in case of power outage or for camping.

A little expensive for what you get. Works as described.

Love how well it works with the Petzl headlamp and how the power switch can be easily depressed even once in the case. Love the cord and how it wraps up out of the way, and also the clip and zipper
