I bought this for my one year old son so that he could get around, at the time Christmas 2012 he was not walking yet he was 11 months then, almost a year. Well I gave it to him on Christmas, he didnt really use it until the 27, day before his birthday, I had to show him. OMG his big eyes lit up so much on his little face once he realized he was getting around, it warmed my heart so! Well its two months later & he is walking on his own, he still uses it more as a toy & to ride on, his brother 2 likes to twirl on our kitchen floor in cirlcles or use it to climb >_< if I am not watching him. Its really cute & my mother in law wants me to get one for her house.

We bought this bike for my DS when he was a year old to encourage him to walk around on his own as he couldnt walk yet. It is an amazing walker for toddlers who can stand and cruise. We have hardwood floors so it moves pretty quickly so I wouldnt recommend it for babies just starting to cruise. The handling on this thing is wonderful! It allows my DS to maneuver like a pro around our condo and in and out of rooms. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is because I wish the seat was a little wider on the thinnest part. My DS doesnt like riding on it even though hes tall enough too. I think the seat area is too narrow and quite uncomfortable for him. But other than that a love this product!

The little guy instantly took off pushing this all around the room and was so excited he didn’t want to stop. He should be walking on his own in no time!

this bike arrived just now, it came dismounted in several pieces, but i was able to put it together in a jiffy i was first surprised about the size in the box it came in (very small) but once mounted its just about right for my baby girl she can barely touch the floor with her feet so i guess she needs a few months of growth but if you use it in reverse she was going like a rocket, now i dont need to bend over all the time to hold her hands for walking and save my back a little Pros: - solid construction and high quality rubber wheels - easy to use for the baby & light to carry around Cons: - i read about flipping danger foreward, my solution dont leave your baby unattended with this toy i really like this bike, there is nothing better out there to learn walking my baby girl is still learning to walk and it saves my back a little for bending over and holding hands when shes tired or bored she just let the bike go and crawl on the floor

I purchased the Pewi (pink) for my 13 month old daughter. Shes 23 lbs and, at the time of purchase, was not yet walking. It took her a couple of days to understand how to work the bike, but once she figured it out, she loved it. I really like that it only took me 5 minutes to put it together. After a week of using the Pewi inside and outside, my little girl has taken a few steps walking on her own. She still prefers to use the Pewi to get around, but it has helped her gain confidence to walk and strengthen her legs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is a little plastic part on the top of the bike (that is supposed to hide a couple screws) that wont stay in. It keeps popping off. It doesnt effect the function of the bike in any way, its just annoying that it wont fit. I honestly think it was just a fluke that it doesnt fit.

This thing is so cool. I bought one for my 2 yo daughter and she just glides around on the hardwood floor to her hearts content! That being said, she tends to sit very far forward when peddling with her feet, which means that even a small bump (transition to carpet, shoe, etc) can cause her to flip over the front and land directly onto her face. Multiple close calls make me conclude that this thing is not safe for outside unless on a very smooth, seamless surface. Im willing to bet a sidewalk crack could cause this thing to flip!

The child we got this for at a little over a year old instinctively climbed right on top of this thing as soon as he got it, as well as using it as a walker. Agree with other reviewers that the plastic piece that covers some of the screws likes to pop out of place so you may want to use some tools to help secure it.

Easy to put together. Can be used riding or walking. Well made. Bought two for each grandchild and both liked it and used it. One climbs on and the other walks with it.
