> 3 dayDo not buy these lights! These lights are good in theory but they are not ready for prime time in the slightest. The main gripe I have is that you cannot use your actual light switch to use these lights in the way you likely want to. For example, say you want a nice blue tinted light in your room rather than the more yellow tint the bulb gives off when you first put in in. Too bad. Seriously, turning the light off with your light switch automatically resets the color back to the standard yellow rather than the color you took the time to set it to. The only work around are to 1) use the app to turn your lights on and off (cumbersome and unintuitive) or 2) to buy their light switch (which, if you ever accidentally use your real light switch to turn the lights off, still means you must use the app to get them back to the color you desired. That’s ridiculously stupid for a ‘’smart’’ light.

Greater than one weekFor the past year Ive had the Hue Philips lights in my apartment. They range from the super basic 1 shade of white to the full color ambiance lights and strips. However, where I was always disappointed was that I have the Ikea Arstid wall lamps over my bed and Ive had to use a zigbee connected device to remotely turn them on/off. So in my bedroom I could control all the lights through the Hue app (or my Google Home device) except for the two wall lights over my bed. So much to my joy theyve finally introduced a candelabra sized Hue Light bulb. These dont do the full color range, but they do do the whole range of white light (so intense orange candlelight to bright unreal blue light.) So now when I go to bed I can dim the lights in my room and set them to that beautiful warm candle glow and let them dim out slowly over the course of an hour. The package was easy to open and the lights were easy to screw into the light base. They were immediately findable through the Hue app and I quickly was able to add them to my custom bedroom set-up. They are just as bright as the other Hue Lights and their intensity can always be adjusted through the Hue App or any other smart home hub app that works with Hue Philips

> 3 dayWorks perfectly with the lights on my fan. I periodically check the heat coming off and its very minimal. The led is great and I live keeping my bedroom lights dim

> 3 dayI love having these bulbs in my home (i have several in various rooms). As far as the Candle/decorative ones I did find they are noticeably bigger than the typical candle/decorative bulb (see pics). And then I was very sad that I couldnt get them in the lamp glass for my ceiling fan. Out of desperation, I tried a hack by cutting the tip of the bulb off to shorten the length and voila ... it worked. Now it may not look as awesome and Im sure I voided any warranty it had, but I have yet to have a guest or anyone notice and it WORKS

> 3 dayI LOVE Hue products. Love. Obsessed. So I say this for all the Hue lovers like me... Wait. Wait until they perfect it. If you have a dimmer switch, they will flash off and on like youre at a rave- or like your annoying tiny child (or husband/wife) is flipping it off and on to wake you up on Christmas morning (or anniversary). It absolutely could be my own dimmer switch, or the wiring in my unit, but I had two electricians come out to try and fix it . So, from one Hue fan to another— if you have a dimmer switch, wait for the next generation. If you dont have a dimmer switch, go nuts!

> 3 dayVery expensive for remote lights. I Think they were $25 ea. Other bulbs are $12.50. But I needed them to automate my bedroom.
