> 24 hourI have several hue lights placed around my apartment, but there was no quick way to turn them all on/off when exiting and entering the apartment. It would always require taking out my phone to use the Hue app or calling out to Alexa to turn the lights on. Now, placing this right next to my doorway entry, I can simply turn on ALL of my lights with the touch of a button. Whereas previously, my light switch at the entrance was only connected to one outlet in the room. This has made my hue light experience SO much nicer and I cant believe it took me this long to realize that this product existed.

> 24 hourHandy if you live in a larger home and great to have one in the garage for the house. This is way more than you need for an apartment. Just one of these switches controls up to four rooms independently. However rotary dial is for only the main room for which it is programmed or for which it is installed. Amazing flexibility. Each of the four buttons breaks down into four separate components. Allowing independent control of each environment. So you can set light for each room independently. personally think the best use is for before you enter your home so if you have a garage tO mount one in the garage for the rest of the house. When you arrive home from work and if you dont have automation set press 1 button and the entire house can light. Or simply turn the dial and if so programmed entire house will come on to whatever seeing you have set for each room the flexibility is amazing.

> 24 hourPerfect for bathroom lights where I just want to use a switch vs app or voice. Programmed it to warm bright light for default, then energizing, dim, and a custom spa setting. Love it! Easy to use.

> 24 hourHaving physical controls for smart lights is a must unless you want to constantly be asking Siri (which in some cases is a hassle). This switch is super easy to add to your existing home structure through the Phillips Hue app and easy to physically install to the wall. My only complaint is the lack of a designed ‘off’ button means a little configuration needs to be done within the app in order to set that up. You can still program a button to be the ‘off’ switch, it just took a couple times to get the Hue app and HomeKit to play nicely together.

> 24 hourThe switch is easily programmed by tethering either to a light bulb - or - by adding it to the app and programming everything over the phone once. Using the phone app, the Hue and power buttons can then even switch between different sceneries / modes. Which makes this really nice. Also - the remote can then work from anywhere in the house - which makes it even more interesting (and dangerous to chaos if you have multiple and switch them ;) ). All in all I really like this and bought even 2 more controls!

> 24 hourWorks well. Sticks to the wall and the remote itself is magnetized, which is a really nice touch. The instructions are a little outdated however, but once I looked them up on hues website setup was very quick.

> 24 hourI had some bulbs that were quite far away from the Hue bridge. I bought this to plug it in closer to the bridge, thus acting as an extender to get a stronger signal to the lights that were having connection issues. Works well for this... although a bit of an expensive solution.

> 24 hourI use this plug for my Christmas tree lights. It works great I can use my voice to turn the tree lights off and on. Im a little bit trashy so writing this review now in May my Christmas tree is still up and I still turn the lights on every night using voice commands to my Alexa Amazon echo thing that control my array of Philips hue products. Im not sure what I will use this plug for if I ever get around to taking my tree down. at this point its as close to next holiday as as last holiday so I may as well just let it ride and maybe take it down in 2024.

> 24 hourI wanted to be able to control my Hue lights through the physical switch along with the app. The installation was really easy and at first, everything seemed great. However, a couple of weeks in, Im noticing that the switch only turns on / off the lights about 75% of the time. You may be thinking well thats not too bad but oh, it is. A light switch is binary, and needs to work 100% of the time - without fail. Nobody wants to be fussing around with a light app when the physical switch should be working 100% of the time. Im not sure if there is some connection or sync issue, but its annoying, and I would not recommend this product. Another minor complaint is; when you flip the switch on or off, the lights slowly fade on and off. Its not instant, how I want it, or how a normal switch works. So, you always have this 2-3 second delay, and you never really know if its working before then. As far as I can tell, this cannot be configured any other way. Your lights and physical switch will become out of sync - Let me explain. I guess there is no real way around this, but if youre OCD it might bother you. Say you turn on the light through the app, but the physical switch is in the down off position. Next, you flip the physical switch to the up on position, this will turn off your light. So now the physical switch is opposite of normal light behavior. Its in the up on position, but the light is off. Im guessing this is working as intended, so I cant really complain.
