05-06-2025These work really well, I had no problems with it at all. Adding it to the rest of my home control was simple and now I can just ask google to turn on/off the lights, dim them, and change the color to/from the different white light colors.

> 3 dayThis worked great until Phillips decided to dishonor its promotion with echo which stated you could use their bulb without the bridge/hub and greedily disconnect the amazon alexa app so you cannot connect the skill through the app. They seem to have done this in order to force people to buy their overpriced hubs and bridges. We disconnected and were unable to connect back to it through our echo so now we have an overpriced $2 bulb. Additionally they discontinued the hue bluetooth app on the play store to force people into their new system

> 3 dayI am gradually replacing the can bulbs around my house due to the high price tag, but I am very happy with these. They connected to Alexa easily.

Greater than one weekThese are great so far. Ive had in them installed for a week and they are great. Integration with homekit is awesome. Only complaint I have is that they dont seem as bright as Id like them to be and when they are dimmed to the lowest setting they are still brighter than Id like. Other than that they are great. Id still recommend.

> 3 dayI recently decided to install ‘smart home’ lighting and other devices in my home, and after some research I decided to give the Philips Hue system a try. I also have quite a few basic non-smart LED bulbs in my home. I’m very happy with the Hue system so far although it is going to take some time to fully understand all of the ways it can be varied and used. I use mine together with the Apple HomeKit system, and the integration with HomeKit has been automatic and without difficulty. There is a huge difference in the price of individual bulbs depending on what they are capable of, beginning with basic LED bulbs that don’t offer the integration with the Hue system (remote operation and programming), and continuing to bulbs that are a part of the Hue system and have features including full color control (most expensive). The Philips Hue system requires the use of a Hue hub connected to your home Wi-Fi system to connect and control Hue specific bulbs and accessories, and there are starter kits to obtain the hub together with two or four bulbs. Initially it took some time to understand the differences between the various Philips Hue bulbs, so here is a quick intro. There are five basic Philips LED bulb types (both Hue and non-Hue bulbs). ALL ARE 60W equivalent, Dimmable, E26 type (standard light bulb): - 1.
