Phillips Brush Light Touch 6 Hair Brush

Ive purchased a Phillips Light Touch #1 and was looking for a new brush. One that I thought would correct the issues that I had with the other model. Dont waste your time or money if you have kinky, afro-textured hair that youd like to detangle with a brush. Or if you wish to even get your brush into your hair, do not buy this. I was expecting to unbox an easy to clean brush with soft flexible pins that wouldnt snag my ends. As soon as I laid eyes on this brush, I knew it wasnt for me. The pins are actually a cluster of one ball pin and two ball-less pins. They are stiff and are set up in such a high concentration. This is not good for natural afro-textured hair. For the sake of a review i tried it anyway. I may as well have put a velcro strip on my head. It immediately started pulling out unnecessary hair. This brush would not even get to the very ends of my hair. Putting this brush to my hair shaft was trouble as well. I touched this brush to my head when it was saturated in my preferred hair mask, moisturized while wet, and blow-dried. I say touched because even when attempting the Lightest Touch possible, this brush just pulled my hair out. and it didnt take any more than a stroke to each state of my hair to figure this out. Not even a full stroke because the brush would not move through my hair. Unless forced and I wasnt going to do that. If you have a curly hair type, do not buy this brush.

This brush is the real MVP for fine hair. Gets through wet and dry hair without any sticking or tangling. Comfy handle for styling. And excellent quality - I had my last one for 7 years!

I received a Phillips hair brush when I was just 10 years old. I have used that brush until last month, I am now 24 years old! I never had any luck with hair brushes, they were either to hard on my scalp or my hair. This brush is super gentle on both your scalp and hair, my hair is also rather thick now, and it still does a great job with brushing. I suggest this brush for all hair types and head sensitivities.

This is absolutely the best brush I have ever used - I have purchased a variety of brushes (for a LOT more money) and none have been any better than this Phillips brush. I have fairly long, fine hair, but a lot of it and this brush is great. I highly recommend it!! Thanks!

Ive had a brush like this for 20 years. Needed a new one found it here. I have very long hair and its the BEST brush Ive ever had. It does the detangling and smooths my hair great. I recommend thi brush to everyone. You wont be disappointed.

Easy to use

My Mother gave me a hair brush made in France many, many years ago. We have been looking for a replacement brush as it was a terrific hair brush - for long hair and short. This is very, very close - thanks for the great brush!

I have three of them so that I will not be without one (my son kept getting it and misplacing it). It doesnt tear my hair like the other brushes and it is soft on my scalp. I have bought them for friends and family. I will be looking for the small version for my purse.
