Phillips Brush Light Touch 6 Hair Brush

Affectionately called the “magic brush” because it magically doesn’t hurt.

Ok, so Im not a person who would normally pay $15 for a hair brush. Im more likely to go to the drugstore and pay $5 for one that doesnt make me cringe. That being said, I really like this brush. After my last drugstore one died I spent some time googling brushes that were good for fine, straight hair. This was one of the best-rated brushes at a reasonable price, so I figured what the heck. It turns out that I really like this brush. It smooths my hair out without creating more flyaways or pulling too much. It isnt too sharp or pokey, and it feels good in my hand. The one thing I dont like is that it is difficult to get the leftover hairs out of the brush. I run a comb over it to pull the hair out but I worry about damaging the bristles this way.

I had one from decades ago and it was time to replace it. I was a little surprised to find the exact same brush so had to get it. Its great on your scalp and hair.

I LOVE these brushes. Got one 20 years ago in a TX mall and it just now began to show wear. The perfect scalp message. So glad I finally found a replacement!

Easy to brush tangles

It’s a great brush I have two but this one cracked in half

I am always on the hunt for great new hair products. I have long (past bra line) hair that is medium bodied (my hairdresser says I have a lot of very fine hair). This brush is gentle yet effective. It gives my hair some body, brushes through knots and is sturdy. When this brush breaks down, which I dont anticipate for sometime, I will buy it again.

I do like this brush and use it most days, but often use a stiffer brush in addition or instead of the Phillips Brush. It IS a Light Touch which is a good thing, but not always for what I need.

This has been my wifes favorite brush for a long time. She bought it once and used it for a couple years. One day she dropped it and it broke, cracked in two pieces. I bought her another one. Its been 2 months since I bought it again and she dropped it again from the counter top and it broke again. Conclusion: its a really good brush but not very durable. For this I give it a negative rating. Note: they both broke in the same spot.

I have never liked these types of brushes, but the reviews sounded so good, I had to try it, figuring Id give it to my granddaughter if I hated it. I love it. This brush is wonderful and I mean it. Needless to say, granddaughter lost out this time.
