Greater than one weekLabels don’t stick to metal, plastic or leather. They just peel off. I have to use clear cellophane tape on top of label to secure it to the back of my iPhone, metal cabinets, etc. Sticks to paper, that’s about it.

> 3 dayVery easy to use. Labels are thin and dont stick really good on metal objects.

> 3 dayI like this little printer, connecting to it with the app over Bluetooth is a breeze. The app is a little touchy when it comes to detecting Double Click, and I wish you could duplicate saved templates for slight modifications, but otherwise it is easy enough to use. The cartridges have an ink ribbon and the actual label, when you print, you will get both, you peel off the black thermal transfer layer and will have your label. The label is also heat resistant because it is not thermal printed, so wont black out under heat. It does make for more waste though, as over 90% of the ink ribbon is unused. The sample cartridge comes with a generous amount of ink/label, and the refills seem to be reasonably priced. So overall I recommend this printer if you want more control over what you can print than what a traditional label maker of this cost would allow, or if you need labels to withstand some heat without losing the print.

> 3 dayWe’ve all been there. You want to label something but either don’t have a label maker or don’t feel like taking the time to set-up and cut labels on your Cricut. You told yourself you would use it all the time, but there it sits. Or is that just me? Honestly, I was looking for an inexpensive compact label maker for my office. Yes, we still use paper and binders here. I was looking for the ability to quickly label binders and office supplies. The Phomemo label was being offered for review so I thought I would take a chance. Bonus, it claims to be able to print on ribbon. Imagine tying gits with the recipient’s name on the ribbon! I wasn’t 100% sure this would be useful. So many of these products tend to be underwhelming at best. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Setting it up and downloading the app was a breeze. Using it is intuitive, meaning it’s simple and easy to navigate. I had it setup and in use within 10 minutes. It comes with three label cartridges: black, white, and clear. The labels printed nicely, and the cut was fine. For a small label maker, the app offers features I was not expecting. There are borders and stickers. The stickers are not the best, but not surprising given the size and price of the label maker. As for the ribbon, I haven’t tried that yet, as the instructions on how to do this is on their website, not in the instruction booklet. I’m not sure if this will take generic label cartridges. Hopefully the website clarifies this. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Phomemo and do recommend it.

Greater than one weekI have been wanting a label maker for a while. This one is nice and compact so it is easy to store. It does require an app to use, which I have yet to have any issues with, but I have seen some others that do, so hopefully I wont run into that problem.

> 3 dayI own both Phomemo D35 and P12 Pro label makers. What I like in P12 Pro: - It’s using label cartridges instead of label rolls. It’s easier in this way to change between the labels and keep them together. Also the quality of the label and prints are way better than on rolls one. - It’s using 12mm label cartridges. All roll labels I could find for the D35 came in 15mm or wider. What I don’t like: - It’s compact and portable but still considerably bulkier than D35. It won’t fit in your pocket, or in a small pocket of your backpack, tool bag, like D35 does. The issues: - You CAN’T use a USB C charger with a usb C to usb C cable to charge it. It works only when using a USB A charger with a usb A to usb C cable. This issue is present on both devices (D35 and P12 Pro).

> 3 dayMini Label Maker - Label Maker Machine Phomemo P12-Pro USB Rechargeable Label Makers, Portable Label Maker with Tape Easy Use for Smart Phone, with 1 Plastic Label Ideal for Home Office Organization (Off-White)Mini Label Maker - Label Maker Machine Phomemo P12-Pro USB Rechargeable Label Makers, Portable Label Maker with Tape Easy Use for Smart Phone, with 1 Plastic Label Ideal for Home Office Organization (Off-White) The labeler comes packaged simply in a white cardboard box with clear shrink wrap. The cover slides off easily, revealing the label maker itself on the top, along with a USB c charge cable. At the bottom of the box is a fold-out booklet with instructions. The labeler does not come with its own charger, so youll have to supply your own phone charger to plug the USB cable into. I plugged the short charging cable into my phone charger, and plug the other end into the label maker. A small green LED blinks quickly when you put it on to charge. Reading through the instructions, it tells you to put the p12 label cassette in first, but in this case, the cassette is already installed in the machine. Upon careful inspection of the label-making tape, I saw that you need to remove the cartridge, pull a tape seal off the tape cartridge, and reinstall it. I noticed when I pulled the sealing tape from the cartridge that the back printing material wanted to separate from the label tape, so you might be careful about that. When I put the cover for the tape cartridge back on, I noticed that the little clear window does line up with the end of the tape so that you can see how much tape is left in the machine. I had pulled a couple of inches out to get past that backing material that was pulling off earlier and it cut cleanly with the built-in cutter on the printer. Next, the instructions send you to Google Play or the app store to download the Printmaster app. If you go directly to the Play store, it shows multiple versions of this app. The instructions give you a QR code to use, so I used that to pinpoint the correct app for this device. Youll want the one that says Printmaster by Quinn LLC and has a little red mushroom logo. Installing. It takes moments, but Im sure that will vary depending on your download speeds. Once you have the app installed on your phone, youll have to register it and create an account, [complete with a password] and they will email a verification code to you that was required before you can use it. The app instructions are pretty straightforward and take you step by step to tell you how to create a label. Youll have to unplug your charging cord before using the printer, as it has to be turned on and have a solid green light before starting. I was a little confused with my first test label because it appeared that nothing had been printed on the label. Then I noticed that the black strip on the back which had been loose before had now adhered to the tape’s backing. The black strip of plastic heat fuses to the label to create your printing. When you peel off the label to use it, you have to peel off the black strip to reveal your label, and then it has the standard horizontal crack and peel backing. The adhesive that comes on the label seems to work well enough. The carbon tape that does the actual printing is a new wrinkle for me. I had not seen this before in a label maker. I hope that the refills for these are not expensive. I read through all of the instructions, and there wasnt a lot of reference to the charging of the device, as to how long it will take for a full charge. Charge. There was a reference in the FAQ, that did mention that you need to charge this for more than 2 and 1/2 hours, so I am presuming thats how long it takes for a full charge. Im going to plug it back in the charge and well check on the unit later. A short time later (about 30 minutes) I checked the printer and the light glowed solid, so I presume thats a full charge. With this device, you dont know how much battery charge you have left until you get a warning for low battery. Having printed several stickers on this now, Im happy with the interface of the program on your phone and the unit, it does print clearly. The part that I dont care for and is a little bit of a pain in the neck is the black carbon that fuses to the label to print it. The black plastic tape just unrolls with your finished label and gives you another piece of mess on your desktop to deal with when youre trying to label things. The crack line on the back of the label tape works fine for removing the backing before sticking your label.

> 3 dayI love it. Was looking for a label printer for my logo and found this one. Easy to use and can not only make labels but also iron on labels like in the photo. Was a reasonable price, easy to use and great functionablility. Would highly recommend it to crafters or anyone who wants a great product worth the value.

> 3 dayThis little label printer is completely intuitive to set up. You just snap in the cartridge and download the app. The Print Master app connected with my iPhone without any trouble at all (and reconnects automatically after many hours of the printer being turned off). My only delay in the setup was that I was trying to create an account with the app using my email, and I could never get it to send me a verification code. When I signed up instead via my Apple account, it was seamless. The app is intuitive too. There are a lot of font choices, and you can easily change the font weight and other attributes. There are also emojis. The print quality is as I expected from other label machines Ive used, which is to say, pretty good (but not the quality youd expect, say, in a printed book). The labels are good quality and seem to adhere really well. Its nice not having to create labels using a physical keyboard on the device, which is always a bit clunky. But of course, that also has the downside of ones being wed to the app, so I guess its a mixed bag. The app can be updated in the future, but it can also be retired. (I had a beloved label maker that attached to my computer and was operated via a Mac program. Ultimately, the software couldnt be updated. I still grieve the loss.) Anyway, Im happy with this label maker and dont see anything to complain about!
