> 24 hourI was very disappointed by this product because most of the effects are cheesy pencil-scratches and lame image distortions. The Cartoon feature is also lame because it doesnt outline for crap and you cant manipulate it easily. The only effect I like is Emboss, which lets you choose any solid color and the depth of embossing the pic to look like a metal plate. Other than that, I dont use it because the VicMan Photo Editor freeware I already had is much better and easier to use, has a Caricature plugin to manipulate pics, and its FREE - unlike the $70 this program costs! I shouldve just bled a few more $$$ for the real Photoshop, I guess...

> 24 hourI have had previous versions of PhotoImpact, and love their product. I like to get the latest version, and this version is well worth purchasing, however, I have not had time to review all the new features.

> 24 hourI was looking for a replacement for the Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10 program that I had been using for years. I figured that after all this time, software technology undoubtly had made improvements that would be noticeable. Not so in this case. While it is true that there are a few powerful tools in this software, it is not as user friendly as should be expected and learning these will take some time. Not so with Microsofts program as within minutes you will easily be erasing unwanted objects (which can also be done in Nova but with extra steps, etc), cropping, and so forth.

> 24 hourPhotoimpact used to be my goto software for quite a few years but after using 13 Ill never use it again. I have a shop doing vinyl graphics etc and digital graphics and quite honestly Photoimpact is such a resource hog it bogs down everything on a new Dell with Windows 10. The worst part is things like splash screens that you cant disable and pop up during it already hogging all your computer resources just makes things worse. Save your money, there are a plethora of better options out there for free.

> 24 hourBefore I begin my review, I must state that I did not buy this product from Amazon.com. However, I feel so strongly about what happened to me that I decided to put a review on Amazon to give people a heads-up before they buy this product.

> 24 hourTried to install via software download. Product was not on the software list to pick from, and the Serial Code was invalid. Tried to install it in another computer with a disc drive, again the Serial Code is invalid. Very frustrating and unacceptable.

> 24 hourI have Lightroom and Photoshop, but bought this as well for the simplicity of it all. Very easy to use and gets the job done! This is a very underrated product I wish were more popular.

> 24 hourI used Photo Impact 4.0 for many, many years and loved it. Unfortunately it would not load onto Windows 7. 13 still has much the same look and intuitive feel as 4 but with many new features. The enclosed manual takes a bit of searching due to a slightly skimpy index. This can be overcome by bouncing between the table of contents and the index. Very versatile, well worth the money. I noticed during the loading that many of the files still had the old ULEAD in the file name.
