> 3 dayI have yet to be disappointed by plugable peripherals. In reviewing this cable i got both the Thunderbolt 4 and the USB 4 cable - both carry a USB-C style port but specifications can vary. Thunderbolt 4 has a higher minimum standard. While both claim 240w and 40 Gbps, Thunderbolt 4 can provide extra peripheral support. This USB4 cable does is job and is able to support full power delivery, cable is well built and high quality. If you are thinking about using it with a Hub/dock it may be worth paying about $10 for the thunderbolt 4 version.

> 3 dayI cant test the claims to go to 240W charging. But it charges my MBP at 100W just fine. The performance on the thunderbolt transfer side seems very acceptable. Works just as fast as my TB3 and TB4 cables to my U2 SSD drives. Seems reasonably built, I have used other pluggable items in the past and the one time I had to use tech support they were phenomenal. So no complaints there.

> 3 dayIve used this 40Gbps usb cable to replace an older one between a laptop and a dock, the old one had been struggling to output dual 2k monitors at 60hz although all the equipment was rated to support it. Im really pleased to say that using this cable as the main uplink between the dock and the laptop has worked wondered and it seems to be a huge improvement - presumably due to the increased bandwidth support. It feels girthy and well made, with a soft silicone finish.

> 3 dayIm loving that these Thunderbolt cables are coming down in price so much lately. Not too long ago this would have been a $60 cable.

> 3 dayMy pluggable dock unfortunately only came with a 1m cable which was too short for my uses. This 2m cable did not negatively impact the performance of my dock, and allowed me to properly cable manage. The build quality of the cable is good as well, the connectors are all very solid. I had no weird performance problems while using this cable, it is a very high quality cable.

> 3 dayThis worked well as a charging cable but for that purpose alone it is very expensive.

> 3 dayThis phone cable works well. Is it barely 4 feet long so feet so make sure you know what you are getting, in case you need longer. This cable can handle all the transfer needs you have. It is a bit expensive but built pretty well and feels very hefty in the hands. I posted a video to illustrate the length if the cable as it is on the short side.

01-06-2025Managed to reach full rate of transfer speed with a Thunderbolt 4 port on laptop and a Sandisk G-Drive Pro 2TB SSD with a USB 3.1 USB C connector Faster than cable supplied with the SSD! Superfast charging of mobile - but this cable is ahead of tits time so as it can do up to 240W power supply
