I have a GPU box connected to my laptop using TB4. It works surprisingly well, and I actually use that GPU enclosure for two generations of laptop with a GTX 2080ti. The stock USB 4.0 cable that came with the enclosure slowly started having problems, mostly with resolution memory and random flickering, but only at load. I can only verify it handles 100w charging without an issue and thunderbolt 4 worked flawlessly. I have had thunderbolt 3 cables in the past and the slightest breeze would knock it out but I don’t have that problem with this cable. The cable itself has the logo which means the company has had this cable tested. With all the confusion around usb-c cables, it is fantastic to see a company go the extra mile to get usb-if certification.

I got this to use with NVMe M.2 drive as the original cable was too short, i have also used it on a docking station for my MacBook Air M1

I own several Apple products, including a few computers, so I always have a need for Thunderbolt cables. I use them both as monitor cables and to connect fast external SSD drives to my computers. I already have Thunderbolt cables from Apple, Belkin, and Cable Matters. Those cables have all worked great, but they are also very expensive. This cable from Plugable is much more affordable, but the quality is just as good as the more expensive ones from what I can tell so far. The speed when connecting external hard drives to my Mac is just as good. I have also used other products made by Plugable before, so I expected the quality to be excellent based on that previous experience. If you need a quality Thunderbolt cable, but you dont want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, I highly recommend this one.

Im loving that these Thunderbolt cables are coming down in price so much lately. Not too long ago this would have been a $60 cable.

Ive used this 40Gbps usb cable to replace an older one between a laptop and a dock, the old one had been struggling to output dual 2k monitors at 60hz although all the equipment was rated to support it. Im really pleased to say that using this cable as the main uplink between the dock and the laptop has worked wondered and it seems to be a huge improvement - presumably due to the increased bandwidth support. It feels girthy and well made, with a soft silicone finish.
