Greater than one weekPlugable is a pretty well known US brand so I am not surprised that this cables is more expensive compared to other similar cables. If my memory serve me right they are in Redmond Washington. The cable is not made in the USA though, its like everything else; its designed in the US but made in China. Anyway, when I start going for cables in the 100W and up, its pretty important that I get well tested cables. I obviously have nothing that takes 240W so getting this is more for future proofing.

> 3 dayAt first this cable might seem expensive compared to other Thunderbolt/USB4 cables you might look at BUT there is no guarantee other cables will support anything you throw at them and at full speed. Heck, even if they claim to be TB4/USB4 but from a brand youve never heard of, you might not be getting what you expect. Relying on a bum cable to interconnect expensive equipment just doesnt make sense.

Greater than one weekThis phone cable works well. Is it barely 4 feet long so feet so make sure you know what you are getting, in case you need longer. This cable can handle all the transfer needs you have. It is a bit expensive but built pretty well and feels very hefty in the hands. I posted a video to illustrate the length if the cable as it is on the short side.

> 3 dayThis is a fairly decent USB 4/TB4 cable if you require USB hub Alt mode, DP 1.4, or DMA protect etc just to name a few. The physical build quality of the cable is good but not as fancy as some others, and its not as thick or rigid as expected; its actually pretty flexible and relatively thin (which is nice), and its not noticeably thicker than some of the braided USB-C cables that I have which are rated for 100W only.

> 3 dayShort and sweet review: this IS the cable you want. You can use it for basic USB-C to USB-C charging or data. However, when you want to throw a tonne of data (including displaying 4K/8K content on a compatible screen), itll handle it. Power delivery? Yeah, every high power power source weve tried recognizes the cable and will take advantage of its PD ability. (note: 180W is as high as weve been able to test - just dont have anything higher power right now)

> 3 dayUSB type C cables are are no longer simple and interchangeable. Design, specifications, and build quality are all important, and all factors in the pricetag, too.

Greater than one weekI cant test the claims to go to 240W charging. But it charges my MBP at 100W just fine. The performance on the thunderbolt transfer side seems very acceptable. Works just as fast as my TB3 and TB4 cables to my U2 SSD drives. Seems reasonably built, I have used other pluggable items in the past and the one time I had to use tech support they were phenomenal. So no complaints there.
