Got this for christmas. I am in no way new to the pokemon world yet this game felt new and refreshing. If you dislike change then perhaps you wont enjoy this games but I loved it all. I do have some things I wish it kept but I also loved some new features and pokemons. Overall I loved them and I cant wait for the expansion

I didnt receive my code for the gold back pack which was the whole reason I bought it off this platform

While its a bit to late to help anyone whos already preordered this I figured this review might help someone. Like many other people I preordered this game, it came on 11/15 as promised, but there was no DLC code for the golden studded backpack. I contacted nintendo with proof of my purchase and never heard back from them so I called in to Amazon to attempt to get this resolved. After escalating it to the marking team I received an email 5 or so hours with a code in it. This code was already used (go figure it wouldnt be that easy) so Im currently putting another request in. The worst installment to date and less than half the pokemon. The developers must have been coding with one hand and masturbating with the other. Save your money on this utter hot garbage

Excellent love the game

Both games play well and as a pokemon its some what more open world. Even though you dont have a national pokedex but the story takes away from that issue.

I love Pokemon and i think that as the game goes is great, i lobe that i can play it on the handheld and dock it after and see it on the big screen that is just awesome and that is what the switch is about. I am disappointed on how Nintendo didn’t have cloud back up for this game same as the lets go games, so you can go from your switch to your switch lite like other games that do support backup. I know that there are ways around it but overall is just to complicated and time consuming. But the one thing that really brought my rating to a 2 star is the fact that I pre-order this product in June and never received the in game code for the Pre-Purchase exclusive Gold stubbed leather case, I reached out to Amazon they made it clear that they have no understanding nor communication with their marketing team who was in charge of this offer to assist. I received an email from amazon a week after I reported the issue letting me know how to redeem the code but never got the code. Weather the issue is with Nintendo is not really the customers issue is the retailer’s issue, Amazon did take ownership on the matters and I appreciate that but still no code and disappointment.
