> 3 dayFirst, there is some sort of a technical glitch. I played for 2 hours, and while holding the game perfectly still, it told me that the cartridge had been removed. Between that and the game play, I will not be starting it again. Did you like Sun and Moon? Enough to basically play the exact same game over again? Then you might consider buying this game. There are some slight changes toward the end (and many in the post game), but it is basically a word-for-word repeat. This is in contrast to BW2, where there was a substantial change in play. Many of my criticism are similar to that of the original Sun and Moon. Here are a few of them: Far, far too many cut scenes. That first two hours of my game that was vanished? About an hour and a half of it was cut scenes. Very frustrating, as they are literally the same cut scenes from S/M. Most of the characters are totally obnoxious. Lilly and Hau are the worst characters created in the franchise. I thought XY overdid the France theme, but you aint seen nothing until you play S/M or US/UM. Every sentence and Pokemon are overloaded with Hawaii. No National Pokedex. The Mantine minigame is just annoying. Speaking of annoying, why would they make a talking Pokedex? As someone who has been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue, and *gasp* even loved most of the newer generations, I am frustrated at the dumbing down of the game play. There should be at least a chance of losing one or two battles at some point in the game. It is set up so that you cannot possibly get off the correct track for a second; there is no freedom whatsoever. A few pros: No HMS. The cover legendaries are pretty awesome. At least there are no fashion shows or contests. Some of the new Pokemon forms are interesting. The added ice cave is a reasonable addition. In summary: Youre basically playing the exact same game just to get to legendaries at the end with good IVs. You might as well just start your S/M games over and save the money.

> 3 dayThis is honestly just kind of lazy in design. With few exceptions, if youve played Pokemon Sun and Moon, youve played this one. Some people have different pokemon and they change a few locations marginally, added a mini-game, but the only real improvement is that there are far more pokemon available to catch. The story is changed very little, but what few changes there are ruins the story. The only worthwhile content comes in the endgame when some old faces from previous games return, and it is over way too fast. Im glad it didnt cost as much as Pokemon Sun and Moon, but honestly this should have been $30 tops at release for how copy and paste the game is. Only hardcore collectors or people that skipped the previous games should buy this, Im regretting my own purchase.

Greater than one weekPokémon is always a hit and I’ll buy them every time. This is not the best game of the franchise but lots of fun nonetheless!

> 3 dayI beat sun and got this later when it came out. However I never beat this version for some reason. It actually got boring repeating so many of the same story elements over again so soon.

Greater than one weekI love Pokémon and I haven’t played any since Pokémon ruby on game boy. I enjoy the changes made over years the new Pokémon new story. Its basically same concept only few new features that I have not know yet from any other recent Pokémon game. The game itself came well pack and shipped only package look it’s been open but other then that it’s came well and no damage to game or anything. The game works on my origin 2ds.

> 3 dayFirst Pokemon game since Pearl. Very fun. Has enough old Pokemon I can still follow everything and a nice mix of fresh new content. I cannot speak to the improvement over sun/moon however as I did not play them.
