I wear clear plastic retainers every night, and Ive used a number of different brands of retainer cleaning tablets. These seem to work just as good, if not better, than the other brands Ive tried. Just as important to me is that they come from a well-respected drug/health company, not some no-name OEM factory in China. If its going in my mouth every night, Id rather clean my retainers with a product whose company I trust.

Keeps my retainer clean and free of stains and refreshed. I add warm water and one tablet to my plastic retainer holder each morning and let my retainer soak for 15 minutes. I recommend this product.

I recently got some invisalign retainers to correct my teeth and my ortho told me to use this product to clean. I didnt realize how much Id have to clean this retainers but glad I have these. They are easy to use, dont have any weird taste or smell and almost 3 months worth come in a package. Ill use these the remainder of my treatment.

There is no harsh lingering chemical taste. My mouthguard feels clean after using.

I use this as recommended by my orthodontist for cleaning my retainers. They clean them perfectly while keeping them clear. Some cleaners I used when I ran out of these made my retainers turn a mottled whitish color and resulted in making my teeth look strange. The Polident Proguard retainer cleaner leaves them clean and clear so my teeth look natural. You can’t tell I’m wearing them. I will only use the Polident Proguard my orthodontist recommended. I use this to clean my mouth guard and it works well. I let my mouth guard soak usually for a few hours (mainly because I forget to take it out) but any odor is gone and it feels clean when I put it back in. I like these large boxes so I only have to buy them a few times a year and always have some on hand.

I have clear retainers that I wear daily to bed. Generally, I clean them manually once a day and use heavy-duty effervescent cleaners once a month. This is the perfect in-between for me. It leaves my retainers feeling clean, but it’s not so harsh that I worry it will damage them with daily use. The best thing about these cleaning tablets is the smell. They leave a wonderful and clean minty scent on my retainers that doesn’t gross me out. Other cleaning tablets that I have used in the past have smelled like chemical or cleaner. This just smells clean and fresh. Additionally, they’re super easy to use. Drop one into some warm water and plunk your retainers in. Finish brushing your teeth and hair and you’re good to go. Overall, for the current asking price of around $18 for 120 tablets, these are an amazing value. That’s far more affordable than the stronger tablets and it is much less abrasive and damaging. I would highly recommend these to anyone with clear retainers. They leave them feeling fresh and clean every single day.

These are great for my retainers. The tablets are easy to get out of the package and dissolve in water. I usually leave the retainer in it for a couple hours. It isnt perfect for getting them good as new, but they certainly help.
