Greater than one weekMy kids all have some type of retainer or mouth appliance, even I have a night guard. Things like that have lots of nooks and crannies that make them a challenge to clean. These Polident ProGuard Retainer Cleaning effervescence tablets make keeping your retainers clean a snap. Plus, because they bubble up, they are fun to watch and so my kids actually use them. They smell minty fresh too! All in all, I am pleased with these Polident ProGuard Retainer Cleaning tablets, I keep a box in each bathroom and under my kitchen sink. These are great to use on toothbrush heads too to help keep them clean as well.

> 3 dayI am guilty of rarely writing reviews but I just had to chime in on this one!! I had been researching a retainer cleaner for way too long. Finally decided on this one but still was weary I tried it last night for the first time and I was more than impressed. It did a fantastic job cleaning my retainer.

Greater than one weekI finally splurged, and bought this, after using just baking soda for years. WOW! What a difference! My retainers are 4 years old, but look brand new again. And they smell and taste fresh after each soaking. *I sometimes use just half a tablet, since my soaking cup is small.

> 3 dayKeeps my retainer clean and free of stains and refreshed. I add warm water and one tablet to my plastic retainer holder each morning and let my retainer soak for 15 minutes. I recommend this product.

Greater than one weekI definitely feel like this does a better job at cleaning my retainer than the denture tablets ever did. Not as good as retainer bright, but more affordable for everyday cleaning.

12-06-2025You can not give this any stars for flavour! If you are tasting this, then you are completely using it incorrectly. There should be no taste when properly rinsed from your device. It completely cleans the device and us as simple as tearing the tablet out of its packet. I would recommend to anyone who has a need for a dental device cleaner.
