> 3 dayarrived fine. sound very good with the right amp.... but... if you want it to sound not as flat...build a box enclosure for it.... sounds better with a box enclosure...Polk used to sell one specifically for these speakers..... but many are making one similar themselves.. you really need a good amp to push them to get the sound they were designed for out of them . remember these are mid bass and high speakers..... so dont expect a lot of low base out of them

> 3 dayQuite easy to install, but if you paint the grills you will need to go very light on each coat and use five coats. Sound great!

> 3 dayI ordered all of the components of my theater system upfront so when I was running wires, cutting holes, etc. I would have everything at my finger tips. I didnt read that after 30 days you cant return anything - even if you got a defective product. Given the timeline for most DIYers this is too short of a period of time. When I called Polk to see if they would honor their warranty, they refused to send me a new speaker and instead send me some parts and expected to be disassemble and repair.

> 3 dayThese are fantastic. Not even for the money - although that helps - or for in-wall speakers. Theyre just really great. I replaced some nice paradigm bookshelf speakers with these since I have a crawling newborn and consider these an upgrade. I would recommend running a auto-EQ program on your receiver to set the crossovers correctly. Mine is at 80 hz (normal). For installation, if youre comfortable finding the space between studs, cutting drywall along a straight line and fishing wires (sometimes through studs) then its pretty basic stuff. I do consider myself on the handier side and dont mind drilling through wall studs, understanding where electrical wires are already running and using fish tape. If any of that sounds challenging to you, call a pro.

> 3 dayFabulously easy to install. The grills are held on with magnets and create a seriously low-profile look. The sound is just what I wanted - amazing for both surround and turntable music from my receiver! Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI am running 22 265s for front, 80 F/Xs for rears and a 255 for a center channel. They sound great, especially the midrange. I have another setup in my house using the Polk RC series and there is a vast difference. I am using a Polk PSW-550 sub to round out the system and they all sound great. I am driving them with an Onkyo 509 receiver. They are well built, the mounts are visibly more robust than the RC series speakers. All of these are mounted in open cavities (the wall speakers back into an unfished storage room and the F?X are in the ceiling, I was concernd that without a box they may suffer on sound, but that has not bee an issue.
