I bought this thinking I could easily watch movies in my room using a projector to find out that no streaming services including movies you have downloaded can be mirrored/cast to the projector. In other words, don’t buy if you want this for watching tv/movies, only for presentations

I got this projector two days ago. It has problems with screen mirroring with iPhone.

The projector inside got dirty somehow. I decided to try to take it apart every screw came out easy except for one that they stripped so I had to tear it apart to get that screw to release. Do not buy this model its one of the worst on the market.

Not bad quality for the price, wish the picture was more clear and brighter, overall though, not upset about it.

This device is excellent for the price point and I recommend the direct (wired) connections for best performance. Out of the box, the first thing to do is to turn this on and point it at a wall to view the on-screen menus. Focus the view, then, using the provided remote control (you must supply a couple of AAA batteries), navigate through the menus to configure the device and add it to your home wifi network. The wifi connection is only required if you are performing wireless screen mirroring. I tested the screen mirroring feature using my Lenovo Android tablet which found the screen mirroring device right away on the same wifi network. This device supports AirPlay and MiraCast but not GoogleCast. It is worth noting that not all Android devices support MiraCast (Google Pixel is a case in point, because it only supports GoogleCast). I was able to share my screen with no issues via MiraCast. The screen sharing included both audio and video. As a test, I played a movie on my tablet which I mirrored to the projector. I could hear the movie audio clearly out of the projector unit. There were pixelation errors here and there but this is because in my test the HD movie I was projecting via wifi had to traverse the wifi network twice: once from my media server to my tablet, and second, from my tablet to the projector. In addition, my tablet isnt particularly powerful. All in all, and excellent device, and Im very happy with it.

    Greater than one week

Really loud, projector that overheats, makes lots of noise, takes a ton of energy to program , trouble connecting to internet, and then doesnt properly mirror the screen.
