If you dont want to mess with electrical and want a well designed and made unit, this is it. Ive got no issues with wiring, but where I needed the outlet to where I could get power from wouldve required horizontal movement in the wall so drilling studs blindly was not my first desire. Used this to make the horizontal run and then fished vertically up the wall without issue. Templates allowed for a tight fit and worked great.

Great product for hiding your power and cables inside the wall for a wall mount TV. I did it with my sons help to keep everything level. Took us about 45 minutes. Great do-it-yourself product. Use a stud finder to make sure you are not going to run into a firebreak. Do not over tighten or you could damage the ears that keep it attached inside the wall. The provided templates were perfect. Trace your template and go easy with the plasterboard saw. You will love it.

I bought this to support wall mounting of a Samsung 50 inch smart TV in our bedroom. The instructions were step by step and clearly written. Let me add here that Im not terribly skilled in home improvement, but this was a breeze. Having the right tools, per the instructions, is essential. The product is solidly made and worth the price.

So, the install went fine. I had to remove the larger unit to deal with a chord issue. I lossened the screw and it doesnt have a stop... so it loosened enough that the clip just fell off back into the wall. Now what do I do? The top clip also bends pretty easy, so it doesnt hold as well as I would like.

Easy, but expensive solution to correctly run powers tv cables through the wall. It is of course cheaper to just run your own new outlet which you can do for closer to $15 with the cable and boxes, but this is a lot less messy than potentially needing to go through studs. Ive had this thing installed now since 2014, actually moved it to another room when we switched out living rooms (we have 2) and it still works perfectly except for the original tabs that hold the product against the drywall. I will echo what other reviews say, the tabs are garbage after the first go around. They break, but its not that big of a deal. Go to one of the big box hardware stores and buy a couple of gang boxes with the metal clips as to replace the broken tabs. Total repair cost less than $4. This product simply works, not much else I can say.

We used this to hide the cords in the wall on our mounted TV. It was very easy to install. We cut two holes with the template provided and a box knife and then you use a screwdriver to twist the clips into place just like you would screw the screws in. The whole project took less than 30 minutes. We were originally going to just put some open face plates on the wall and then run the cords through but we found out that TV cords, because of the type of cord, are not fire code approved to go IN the wall. This was an easy fix once we found this product. It is recessed just enough to prevent strain on the TV cord (ours is really close to the wall) and the hole to put media hook ups through is big enough for one set of component cables and 2 HDMIs. We could have probably fit at least 2 more cords if we had a need to.

This product met all my expectations. It was described correctly and arrived with all parts and ready for installation. I was able to follow the instructions and install it myself using very basic home repair/DIY skills. I do recommend you purchase or borrow a wallboard saw, it was much easier to use than a knife. I would definitely purchase this product again.

This is a great piece of kit. Its really simple - with a drywall saw and the included template, to cut a couple of holes (it doesnt need to be EXACT - but mostly exact - so anyone can do it). Then use a cheap roll of fish tape to get the cables up/down the wall with relative ease. My frustration stems from needing this in a dedicated movie room, where the walls are dark and the outlets are black. So I had to tape off the electronics and spray paint it black (including the screw heads!). Not ideal, and really it would be nice if PowerBridge released a black edition of this. 4.5 stars out of 5. Highly recommended - but a bit more work if you need it black!

I want to love this. The product would be great if not for the cheap plastic securing pieces the box screws screw into. I was very careful about not over tightening as the directions say, but two of the four snapped off before fully latching. I’m now stuck with 2 unfinished outlets which is delaying the tv mounting process until I can get replacements... which has proven incredibly challenging.
