> 3 dayI bought these hooks because I needed some more floor space in my garage and we have 5 bikes ranging from a 26 down to a couple of 16ers. I was happy to find that these hooks included anchors, which I did not need but it was a nice touch. The plastic coating on the hook is nice because I dont want to scratch anything with these hooks. They are screwed directly into exposed studs in the ceiling of my garage and they hold all of the bikes nicely, even my wifes heavy cruiser bike. Good value for what you get.

> 3 dayThese ARE the droids you’re looking for! If you’re looking for truly sturdy bike hooks, these are much larger and stronger than the “standard” ones. (See photo) I bought and returned another set of so-called extra heavy duty hooks. Those inferior ones were even wimpier than the old ones I have. If you’re a mountain biker, you want these ones, as they’re big enough to accommodate your 29x2.6” tires no problem! Aside from being much larger and heavy duty than my old hooks, the rubber coating seems to be more sturdy. (Hence I am replacing my old hooks) I cannot vouch for the wall anchors that came with these, as my hooks are just mounted directly into wood.

> 3 dayThese hooks were perfect. Whats great is that a single hook can hold a bike. If you alternate what side of the bike is attached to the hook you can put about 9 hooks on a single 2x4. I found it easiest to mount my hooks on a 2x4 prior to putting it on the ceiling of my garage. Once I had found the stud I just attached the 2X4 to the ceiling. I would recommend pre-drilling holes before putting the hooks in as they are rather large. Solid purchase that really cleaned up my garage space.

Greater than one weekThese hooks actually worked great. I just drilled pilot holes with a 9/16 bit and hand-screwed them into the ceiling to hang my bicycles. They held both bicycles and dont budge. I would just make sure if you use them for the same purpose, you make sure you mount them into studs. I doubt they would hold if just mounted into sheetrock.

> 3 dayThe screw tips at the end are too small and for reason its having a hard time staying in the wall. t
