> 24 hourWeak receive and transmit compared to Lil Wil Wilson mag mount. May have just got a bad one. Returned for refund. Cost too much for what it is. I wanted it to work because it is really a stealth antenna. Looks factory almost.

> 24 hourThe magnet on the mount is very powerful, will not slide off. Reception and range is good. About 4 miles max with favorable conditions. I used it on my 4 wheeler, and liked it so much, that I bought one for my semi tractor day cab truck. The cable is long enough to go from the roof of the day cab ( mounted on the metal bracket behind the cab. ) to the dash, via the driver side window lining. I paired it to a cobra 19. Works great.

> 24 hourIm only giving 5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is, and does exactly what it says it will do. Its a good working antenna. Its not the best one ever made, but anyone looking for a cosmetically pleasing and good working antenna, this is it. There is no tuning available on this but overall as low swr. It makes it quick to install and get you transmitting.

> 24 hourIm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This is not an ideal antenna - and going into the purchase I assumed there would be some drawbacks. For reference, I am an Amateur Extra Ham operator but I also use CB radio. This a compromise antenna - meaning its nowhere near the perfect physical length. Its electrically a 1/4 wave - looks like its wound around a plastic or fiberglass pole, so it needs a good ground plane - IE the center of your roof. I use this on my wifes minivan because she doesnt want a 4-foot firestik or anything like that. This is the closest thing you can get to stealth while having a functioning antenna. Most importantly - out of the box I saw a 1:1 SWR - that is SUPER low for a compromise antenna. Theres no way to tune this, so thats a good number out of the box. That means Im getting the full 4 watts out of my radio (more or less) transmitted out. I replaced a whip antenna on a mag mount (2:1 SWR) with this and Im definitely reaching further distances. Note that this is in the center of a minivan roof - a very large ground plane. Does this beat my firestik or my home CB antenna? Of course not. But for the price it offers a good compromise between form and function and looks like a modern car antenna. Theres really nothing else in this space that compares. If you are looking for something semi-stealth this is really your only usable option.

> 24 hourOkay, I suppose it probably doesnt work *exactly* as well as a 108 whip. But this shorty is a range-monster. It works great. I hear everything! And I get excellent reports, even from the (distant) big guns. Amazing!! I dont know how President does it? Excellent!

> 24 hourEasy install, strong magnet, added a coax extension of 10. SWR is 1.4 on 1 and 40. Picks up 3 to 7 miles on highway based on terrain. Picks up skip, works well
