Great radio, priced right. Clean sound, and has a ton of features. I have it mounted in my car, have a Wilson 1000, I talk to my dad every day, I get around 10 miles in the city (Orlando, FL). I have not tried further away, but I am sure it will receive without issues.

I use this as a base radio. Excellent SSB, DX contacts all over the U.S. barefoot. I dont care for all the multifunction buttons, you cant switch from SSB to AM without cycling through all options. When using channel scan, most button functions do not work. Audio quality is very good, recieve is somewhat noisy. Dead key out of the box can be turned down to 4 watts, may need to be tuned to use most solid state amps. Overall a very nice unit.

I havent used radio too much for 10 and 12m bands havent opened yet in NW part of county. I like all the functions the radio has although programing can be a little difficult for repeater use.

What I don’t like about it is I can not get any reception what’s so ever out of it I don’t think it should even be sold from what I have read about the reviews on it is that they are not good at all it’s nothing but a piece of junk that’s my opinion

Unit was putting out 1/4 of a watt at full power setting. Junk right out of the box. Sent it back and got another one coming. Fingers crossed. Second and third one junk. Do not buy this radio. Update. Got the second one and SAME PROBLEM!!! Not impressed with president. Customer service is terrible. Gonna try one more time. If the third one is junk, Im done with president. Update, third one came. Worked for a little while then crapped out. These Lincolns are garbage. Im done with president

Poor modulation and very poor receive on strong local signals. I own the very small President Ronald radio which is a lot better than this Lincoln. The drawback of the Ronald is that it does not have sideband. But Ive tested this Lincoln side-by-side with my Ronald and this Lincoln will go in the trash can. I promise you its not nearly the radio that the President Ronald is. If you have a very nearby strong station this President Lincoln will clip it out and cut the received where you cannot hear their signal. the digital display will indicate that theres a strong signal coming through but you will not hear the audio. No combination of noise limiter noise blanker or high-cut or none will allow that strong signal to come through. You have to cut down the receive game in order to receive that strong signal. And then you cant hear any medium or distant stations. all reports of transmission reported that I had very poor modulation. The Rodger beep was stronger than my voice. when I finally unplug the Lincoln and plugged in the President Ronald everybody breathes a sigh of relief and said that I was finally back. This radio in my opinion is junk compared to the Ronald. UPDATE:. Bought an Anytone AT5555N. Now this radio is what I was looking for!

Not good for GMRS. If you do a factory reset, you will lose CB capability. Im selling mine.
