Princeton Catalyst Tools, Art Supplies for Texturizing and Moving Paint, Wedge- White

> 24 hourUnfortunately, the wedge was much thicker and heavier than expected. I ordered this product to use with my acrylic artwork, specifically to use in acrylic swipes and the corner to drag paint in designs. However, the heaviness caused it to drag to the bottom of the canvas and not float no matter how light I tried to handle it on the canvas and wet paint. I had gone back to using an old credit card and/or plastic sheet. Doesnt work for my purpose.

> 24 hourIt’s nothing fancy. Just a well shaped piece of silicone (I believe) that fits nicely in the hand, takes no space in my art stuff, & can be used to spread & push all kinds of liquid & paste-like substances. Use it to spread gesso or glues, thick, heavy body paint, etc. Easy to clean. I find it so useful, I bought a second. Thus far, I have no use for the other shapes, but this one is great.

> 24 hourSure its basically just a simple squeegie made of silicone but it can help create great effects and depth in abstract artwork. Cleans easily and feels like it will last. Certainly itll last longer than any brushes and it costs around the same. The Catalyst wedge is flexible like a squeegie but theres also solid plastic and other textured types for different effects. Sure you can find other items to do the same but these are shaped well and are easy to work with.
