The printer is responding a bit slow and I am not sure if the cable is the problem or the switch itself. In general, it works well.

Very helpful if running 2 different computers to 1 printer

Needed to share a printer between my work pc and my personal one. Saw this one. Loved the price. Failed to notice it was manual. No fault of the seller, its right there on photos and product descriptions. It means when you want to print from one of the computers, the desired one must be selected with a button push. No big deal for me. I print very little. Just wanted for convenience. Make sure you can get to it because if this. Heartily recommend!

Works

I bought two for my 2 laptop and 2 printers so the laptops could use either HP printer. It seem to work for a week but then either the PC laptop software or HP Smart Print Software or the Device itself would not print. I would have to unplug and plug the usb cords, turn printer off and on and try different things in order to print a doc when switching between the printers. Once I went direct from printer to laptop with the usb cords without using the switching device, I could print. I returned the device after 2 weeks and was never reimbursed. Still working on that.

This devise allowed me share two computers with one printer simply by pushing the selector switch. Well worth the small price.

Just what I needed, a simple A/B switch WITH the cords at a great price. No need for bells and whistles, just a simple switch.

This is a great way to share a printer between 2 computers when you cant use wireless. This is exactly what I needed, and it works perfectly. The buttons are brightly lit, which is not my preference, but its otherwise perfect.
