none of features listed above apply, so thats why they are 1 star... but it allows me to switch my canon laser between my home desktop and my work laptop with the touch of a button!!! hehehehehe

This is a great way to share a printer between 2 computers when you cant use wireless. This is exactly what I needed, and it works perfectly. The buttons are brightly lit, which is not my preference, but its otherwise perfect.

Pretty cheaply made if one of the two lights burned out after only two months use. Will be impossible to use if the other light burns out - wont be able to determine which printer is connected if that happens.

Couldnt share a solid state computer with my older one.

I share a printer with my work desktop PC and my laptop. For that purpose I had an A/B switch for a year or two. When I would switch from one to the other, I started getting messages that the USB device couldnt be found. It would sometimes work when I cycled power to the printer, but then even that didnt work anymore. Evidently it was time for a new switch. This one works great. My only complaint is that the lights that indicate which channel is active are the same color, so I have to remember which computer is on which channel. My old switch had 2 colors, which for some reason was easier for me to relate to. Anyway, switch works well, was inexpensive, and includes 2 USB cables of the kind used for printers - which I didnt need, but hey, you can never have too many cables, right?

My experience with printer switches in the past have been frustrating at best. This is simple and works. What more can be said.

I bought this to use my wireless mouse and keyboard on my work and personal computers. Works great even with Logitech unifying receiver.

Works exactly as advertised. No issues whatsoever. Perfect to share one printer between two computers and not mess around with the Wi-Fi network.
