I worried that the adhesive would fail before using the product. But It has held out extremely well. I had to relocate one of the hooks and the adhesive stuck to first wooden brace like a champ and I had to spend a little time removing it without ruining the plastic or pulling the adhesive apart. Putting it in the second location was fine, not brand new levels of sticky but its holding fine for its intended purpose. If I need another one for my second VR headset I would be perfectly fine getting another one.

This is one of two KIWI Design products I own for my Valve Index and I cannot recommend their hardware enough. This pulley system is very well priced, high quality, and extremely functional. If you’re looking to get a pulley system for your PCVR headset, this is the one to get. With this and their Valve Index cooling fan, I will be on the look out for any other KIWI Design Index products!

Works exactly as intended, when you’re immersed the game you won’t feel it a single bit. However if you consciously think about it it will be noticeable but not very intrusive. I wish there could be tension adjustment which would make every issue with it stop. If you’re sitting down you’ll probably feel it the most but standing up and playing your game is perfectly fine, you won’t notice it a single bit and you’ll be glad afterwards there’s no cable in your way.

I had previously bought the $20 VR Cable Management from KIWI, and Im replacing them for multiple reasons, which the pro version has improvements for: The wire - steel vs dyneema: The pro version has a dyneema wire, which is stronger than steel, more flexible, cannot rust, cannot weaken from bending, cannot weaken from twisting. These are all problems that I experienced with the thin steel wire, which broke after 150-200 hours of use, and Im confident the dyneema will handle constant movement and bending far better than steel. The cable holder - silicone strap vs rubber o-ring: The pro version has a plastic cable holder with a silicone strap to buckle the cable in. On the standard version, they give you a rubber o-ring, which you wrap around your cable, and attach to a tiny metal clip with sharp edges. The metal clip wears into the o-rings and causes them to break. On the pro version, the silicone strap is far thicker than the o-ring, and is held straight by the plastic buckle, so it cannot twist or wear down. The wall attachment is identical to the standard version, which is fine. It worked well for me in the past, and I dont mind that nothing changed. Though the standard version also used the metal clips and o-ring to attach to the wall. The pro version has a silicone loop built into the reels, which again, is much better because the o-rings can break. The overall construction is also much nicer. The reel is a custom plastic mold for the brand with a higher quality plastic, as opposed to the standard version, which looks and feels like a generic part, made with cheap materials. The higher quality materials do make the pro version quieter than the standard version, but I would not call it silent. There is still the sound of the the reel (think of how a retractable badge, or key holder sounds). I look forward to using the pro version of this product for a long time, and I would recommend anyone considering the standard version to upgrade. The standard version will work ok, but it will wear down after a while.

Okay this is a game changer! I play a lot of Beat Saber and VRChat and I was always getting tripped up or tangled by my Indexs cords. Now thats not an issue and the pulleys are quiet! It feels smooth when moving and I dont really notice the pulleys are even there most of the time. I also ended up in the hospital with my arm in a sling cuz I was so excited to put this up, I didnt take any breaks and just used a power drill for 30 minutes non stop. So...maybe dont do that!

Cant stand it. Cable twisted and pretzels above my head within minutes. Rough tug on the headset if I move anywhere. Sent a photo of my configuration to kiwi, and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Id rather trip over the wire on the floor than ever use this system again.

This functions great as a product to keep cable weight off ones self, but if you are a more ambitious VR enthusiast these are recommended with caution. I have a standard ceiling and I had a handstand go wrong with my foot getting caught in the line. All would have been fine but the length of the system does not reach the floor and caused a mishap with landing. The cable management broke and I have a damaged foot. Also the pull of the cables is on the weaker side and I would recommend about 9 if you want a taut system.

I previously was using another cable management system that was slightly cheaper, which did the job fine but had higher tension and twisted metal cables. Finally, one of the cables snapped and rendered the pulley useless and I was forced to buy another set. After ordering these, I replaced my older set with the KIWI versions and havent looked back. Not only are these sturdier, but are set up just to work for cable management. Other pulley systems are set up as bundles of ID card pulleys, but these actually are designed to hold cables thanks to the cable holders at the ends. In addition, the tension and pulling force is just correct: not too much but not too weak. Are these more than the others? Yes, but the extra price you pay is worth the premium.

My son loves these. Easy to install and VR interaction is great. We positioned the ‘V’ in his designated space, but he has ample room to move out and around, given he entire cord length. I will say that we had an ‘issue’ repositioning some of the wall sticky’s, so just make sure they are where you want them, or have backup paint available... I would purchase this product again...

After having watched some YouTubers recommend switching to a pulley system when using a wired VR headset, I ordered a set of these. They work great and the quality of the items included have not disappointed me. This system helps make cable drag nearly non existent while also keeping both me and the cable safe from damage.
