I love these for getting the cable out of the way when gaming. BUT there is one small issue. The tension is too tight and i feel too much resistance on the headset. This is particularly annoying for games that are immersive and require alot of crouching and dodging. I have not tried the triangle type setup yet just to be clear but I dont see it helping much. To the creators: I recommend that you add a tension adjustment like some competitors have. I bought these for the quality of design and would not have batted an eye to pay 10 or 15 more for that feature.

—EDITED— This product is good although very pricey for what it is. I am going to use this for an Oculus Rift S when it arrives as almost all vr headsets are sold out everywhere. I love the quality of the cable system however it pulls a little too much. Take this with a grain of salt as I haven’t tried it with the headset yet but I fear it may unplug the display, im not sure yet ill edit the post when I receive it. I am however certain that this would be a waste of money if you are planning to use it with the Oculus Quest link cable because of the cost. I’d rather just trip over the cables because that device is meant to be portable and locking yourself in a room is against the point of buying that headset. Long story short its a good product with high quality parts, very sticky adhesive, quiet when moving the only reasons why you may reconsider is if you own a Quest, Cost, tight pulling, or you prefer a trip Induced concussion. — After testing out with the headset I can confirm that the cable does not get pulled out while I use it!

I havent installed it yet, but the quality and design looks to be very good, just one small issue is it didnt include the ring hook. Im sure I can come up with a work around, but just thought to put that out there.

I’m impressed. One month later and they are working perfectly. They still stick strong to the ceiling without any signs of deteriorating. I could not imaging playing VR without these things. I hope in the next version you make the Pulley systems tension adjustable or at least offer an option to purchase a looser one or even just add some optional weights like fishing sinkers to attach? It’s fine how it is, but it could be better just to have a bit less tension. Saying as a suggestion for the future. Not to detract. These are freaking amazing.

Right out of the box I stretched out a pulley to test how silent it was. The claim of silence seems to mostly be based on the rubber that deadens the retraction click and this works well enough to be silent within vr even if not outside of it. That said, I immediately doubted the product after stretching it out further. The reason for deducting two stars is due to the tension ramping up as the cord is pulled out. The only adjustment is to change the slack but, without a corresponding adjustment to tension, this feature is nearly pointless. The recommended triangle setup really does work flawlessly for standing play but the pull becomes too noticeable after 1 or 2 steps in any direction. My space measures 3 meters by 3.5 meters according to the steam vr room setup so 1 or 2 steps is not sufficient. I spent a couple hours experimenting and here is what works best for my setup. First off, 6 pulleys is not enough so I ditched the triangle setup. Im very glad that more adhesive hooks were included than needed. I still have 3 points of contact with the ceiling but ended up chaining the pulleys together. 1st point nearest the pc has 1, 2nd point has 2, 3rd point has 3. I found that the easiest way to calibrate this was to place the headset into the corner. Each link of the chain could then be inspected and the rubber gripper on the cord adjusted until all pulleys were about the same length. A balance must be struck between ensuring that no pulley is stretched too far yet without the cord dangling low enough to entangle your neck or hands. Overall, this setup is decent but Im probably going to need to order a second kit. There just are not enough points of contact with the ceiling to keep the cord high enough. Ill likely have leftovers but I figure the rest can be spares. This would be a 5 star product if there was a way to adjust tension. This would be a 4 star product if they were more open about the requirements for a full room setup and sold a 10 pack going for about 1.5 the cost.

I love this and this it is a must have for vr gaming. It is nice not to trip over your cables or get tangles in them or guests getting tangles in them. 10/10 will recommend.

These pulleys run smoothly, are quiet, and seem to be built quite well. My medium sized complaint is that, due to the fact you cannot adjust the tension lower, the link to the headset tugs a bit too much. Im sure in a higher ceiling room with more cable to hang down itd work fine, but Id rather a few low tension ones be included in the box (or make the tension adjustable). Ive moderately fixed this problem by attaching a small weight to the last link, but this only works when pulling the headset downward. Tip for those reading: If you loop a rubber band around your VR cable, and a magnetic detachable keychain, you can easily detach and reattach your cable to these pulleys. Picture attached.

These are great. Keeps the cable off the ground and more out of the way. Only way they could be any better is if they were just a little weaker cause it does pull a little more on the cable than I would like, but honestly is probably still less wear than me stepping on or tripping over it. Oh I used the hooks so I don’t know how well those will work but the anchors and hooks hold well.

I love this system, but it can be a pain. When Im playing VR, I get tired after 2 hours and if I try to sit down or move a good distance away, the tension feels like somebody is trying to pull the headset off of my head, even if I squat.

Works exactly as intended, when you’re immersed the game you won’t feel it a single bit. However if you consciously think about it it will be noticeable but not very intrusive. I wish there could be tension adjustment which would make every issue with it stop. If you’re sitting down you’ll probably feel it the most but standing up and playing your game is perfectly fine, you won’t notice it a single bit and you’ll be glad afterwards there’s no cable in your way.
