OK, I ended up keeping the Yaber V6 after I’d kicked myself for not learning a bit more about projectors before ordering. I was particularly frustrated to learn that a lumen is not a standardized unit. For example, a volt is a volt is a volt. If it wasn’t there’d be some nasty accidents but when it comes to lumens, for some reason there’s something other than the ANSI lumen and, not knowing this was my fault. I naturally assumed, the higher the lumens the brighter the image only to learn (after purchasing the Yaber V6) that 4000 lumens (ANSI) is way brighter than the 7500 lumens (LED/LCD...still not quite sure of the correct definition or how they arrived at the unit) that the Yaber has. I’ve since learned that 7500 lumens ANSI would be incredibly bright, way more than you’d need to watch something in broad daylight. Anyway, with that gripe out of the way, we use the Yaber V6 once the sun goes down outside with a 120” pull down screen. You can only just see the image before the sun goes down but the image is very good once the sun has gone down. Nice HD and one tip that maybe useful to some is: Bluetooth from your Firestick rather than from the projector. I ended up doing that as the lag was significantly reduced compared to Bluetoothing from the projector. The firestick, Bluetooth and using YouTube TV meant that all I had to do was put a power outlet in the ceiling, install the ceiling mount for the projector and hang the pull down screen. No other wiring required. All done for under $500, projector $211, screen $237, ceiling mount $19.99 and firestick $29.99. New power outlet was just a couple of bucks. So for the money it’s really quite an impressive set up (after the sun has gone down)

I bought a few different models to see about setting up an AtmosFX projection setup in my house for Halloween. I bought two $100 models, and this one that was just under $200. For those that are looking at the numbers and dont completely understand, Lumens does not Equal ANSI Lumens, which also does not equal LUX. All can be shown as L. ANSI Lumens is a standard rating that is based on a number of things that are all measured. Lumens is a number that can be different from one company to another, depending on how they measure it. Lux is a measure of illuminance, the total amount of light that falls on a surface. LUX is not used by everyone, so it is not easy to determine either. This projector is overall close to 1000 ANSI Lumens, I have another projector that is 1000, and this is very close. The one difference is that the Projector blows out the bright areas, the edges of the image that would be brightest, tend to be very blown out. For my projection this works really well. The feature of the 4 point adjustment allows you to put the system off to the side and still square things up. It also has a zoom out to about 50%, so that it can throw a long distance. The menu system is a bit different than the other two projectors I go, but does work off the USB drive for the projections. A few other notes - There is no mounting points on the projector, so you cannot ceiling mount it without some sort of platform, although the software does allow you to invert, or flip the image. Projector fires almost straight out, so if you put it on the ground, it will have part of the image on the ground. The little foot to raise it, doesnt do much. Plan to put something under it to raise it up.

Writing review after 1 yr of use. I compared 3 different projectors at $200. And found Yaber v6 to be better over all back in 2021. After few months of use it has developed a black dot on screen and seller has sent a video to clean lens.

Very happy with the quality and value overall. 2 things to note, the projector only “sees” the remote from the lens side of the camera, so you need to be in front of it and aiming back at it for it to work. Somewhat inconvenient but no big deal. Also, we had a very hard time getting the lens cap off the first time. It was pushed on so hard we were afraid we were going to break the lens assembly getting it off. Apparently so many people have had this problem there is a YouTube video on how to remove it. Look it up if you have as much trouble as we did. Just put it on much looser when you’re done with it from then on. Edit: Yaber promotes its sophisticated keystone image adjustment but it does not work properly. In front mode, you are able to adjust the digital zoom. If you change to side mode because you are projecting at an angle you are no longer able to use digital zoom. In my case, the picture size became way too big to project onto a screen. Contacted tech support, while they were very responsive, they confirmed that digital zoom will not work in side mode, only manual keystone adjustment. We bought this projector to use in 2 different setups, it is useless for one of the setups. Very disappointing. Great projector if youll only be shooting straight at a screen. If not, do not purchase.

This is a comparison review with the Yaber V3 and Yaber V6. At first I purchased the Yaber V3 and that projector is an amazing projector, my favorite actually, but because it was defective with the update, I returned it and bought this Yaber V6. The Yaber customer service is excellent though, and gave me an extra 10% discount for the inconveniences. Thank you Vicky, you are amazing!! Now for the review. The pros: The menu is user friendly and has a better interface. At 7500 lumens it is bright enough to see in a fully lit room. The colors are vibrant and more true to reality than other projectors. The speaker levels can be manually adjusted to increase bass, treble, pitch, background, to help with whatever youre using it for which is great! After adjusting levels to my preference, I compared the speakers to my JBL handheld bluetooth speaker and the on Yaber V6 speakers were better! (Which was really surprising). The focus focus ring keeps the focus from the center to the edge of the screen. Even when the 4-point key function isnt adjusted to be a perfect rectangular screen, the picture isnt distorted at all, which is nice. The cons: Its large, measuring at 9x10. Its a little heavy. The height adjuster doesnt help that much because it is so big, so you may need to put a book or object under the front like I did it you arent using a ceiling mount. It isnt a short throw projector, so in a 10.5 foot room it can only project a 90x 49 display, compared to the Yaber V3 that can project a 120x 60 display from the same distance. The fan is loud, but isnt annoying. It sounds like one of those large square floor fans that cost $20 on high speed. When you turn up the volume though it drowns out the noise of the fan. You cant manually adjust the colors. You can adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, yet not the red/blue/green colors. Its a tiny flaw that could easily be changed, but its just a tiny flaw. The picture quality is pretty good, but you need to alter the picture quality to adjust for the pixelation. With the Yaber V3, I hardly needed to adjust the picture quality at all and it was true FHD1080p. The Yaber V6 isnt FHD, but it is probably 1080i. When I play my PS4 games, the quality depreciates dramatically to nearly 720p which is unacceptable. It can only track 30fps (frames per second) and not 60fps so motion is glitchy and detracts from the experience. The Yaber V6 is more expensive that the Yaber V3 with the Yaber costing $210 with a discount, compared to the Yaber V3 that costs $80-$90 with a discount. The quality of the Yaber V6 does not match its value. Like I said, I had a phenomenal projector (Yaber V3) before buying this Yaber V6 so this one is the 2nd place brother in my opinion. Overall, If I didnt have a better projector to compare this to, Id think it was a great projector. Honestly, Id suggest the Yaber V3 over this Yaber V6 any day. Youll save more money and have better picture quality, short throw distance, and versatility in a projector.

I purchased this projector after my husband had paid double the price for a bulky projector with worse quality. This projector has been great to us so far in how often we use it. We had a sound bar as well but the speaker it comes with is sufficient enough to fill our living room through to our kitchen. Im happy with the quality, im suuper happy about the price because I wasnt going to pay $1000+ to have a projector for fun. Also this model was super important to be because i was able to attach it to my ceiling mount with no problem. Big win there.

Okay! We built a movie theater/bar in our basement last year do to covid and just wanted the ability to have movie nights on a big screen! Ive got a 120 screen that we use this projector on and I couldnt be happier with it. Pictures is very clear and bright. The speaker on the projector works well for what it is but I did hook up my 6 channel surround to it and just makes it feel more like Im in a theater! Ive even tried gaming on it and the 72hz does well at keeping up! However, after 5 months of owning the projector we ended up getting green lines across the screen coming from the projector. Amazons return policy was only a month but yaber offers a 3 year warranty with this product so I contacted the company. Within a weeks time I had all in information I needed and sent the projector out to them and once they received mine they sent me a new one. I even got the tracking info so I knew right when it was gonna be at my door. The company took good care of me and Im very thankful! Only down side is I did have to pay shipping and handling to ship it to the company but Im not gonna complain about $40 dollars for replacing me with a whole new one! Now Im able to enjoy my move theater again plus the company did say I got a defective product so my warranty is still good! Thank you so much yaber for a great product and your good customer service! I was looking for a budget friendly projector to use temporarily until my projector room is finished. The price of the Yaber V6 fit the bill of what I was looking for so I took the chance. Setup is very simple and quick. Picture quality is good but not amazing. I have the projector set up about 15 from the wall creating a 120 screen. I am also using a cheap cloth type screen also purchased from Amazon so that may have a little to do with the overall picture quality. I have the projector setup in a basement with minimal ambient light. When the overhead lights are turned on the image becomes a little washed out but is still watchable. Best viewed in a dark space. My only complaint is there was a black artifact in the image around the right center of the screen. It was clearly something on the inside. Rather than returning the projector I opened it up and found a small sliver of white plastic stuck to the screen on the inside. I removed it and now its good to go. I cant speak to the longevity of the projector as I have only had it for about 2 weeks. Overall I would recommend to someone who is looking for a cheap projector but would caution that it most likely would not stand up against a more expensive mainstream brand.

Ive had this projector for well over a year now. The image is great the sound is good and the overall quality is perfect for the family to enjoy a great night in to enjoy a movie or your favorite tv series. We did have a problem with our first projector and contacted the company and received prompt responses and solutions to our problem. They had a new projector sent out and we were back enjoying it once again in no time. They genuinely wish there customers to enjoy there product and go the extra mile to make them happy. If they have a product that has a problem the are always looking to improve there product and seek as much feed back as they can get. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a projector.
