> 3 dayI bought this projector to replace another cheaper one from Amazon. The Yaber V6 has greater brightness than the other brand, for only a few dollars more. I used it primarily in my garage which has one normal-sized window behind the projector, and smaller windows built into the garage door. During the day, with daylight shining through the windows, the projected image can be seen on the white-painted brick wall. At night the image is bright and clear. I cant wait to see the image pop when I install my retractable screen. As for features, the V6 is simple in design. Two HDMI, A/V, and USB input to choose from. The remote is simple lacking dedicated feature buttons like other brands. I mostly use it to power on/off, input selection, and volume control. I use an Amazon Firestick with the V6 and it works flawlessly. The sound volume and clarity are very good for a single speaker unit. The sound stays in sync with the picture, no refresh necessary. One of the biggest features of the V6 is the four corners digital keystone correction. You can install the projector on an angle then pull or push the corners of the image to the size you want. Very easy to use and adjust. Unlike the cheaper projectors that dont have digital keystone, those you have to place the projector exactly in front of what you are projecting onto. Another reason I returned the cheaper one. This Yaber V6 has greater illumination as you can see from the photo taken at night in my garage prior to the return of the other projector. The brightness and quality of the image are apparent, even when seen on a brick wall. The left image in the picture is the V6 with a 130ish projection. Getting closer to the wall you can see the pixels of the V6 are closer together than the cheaper projector. This results in a way better image quality, as you can see. Even though both projectors are 1080p capable, the V6 has a better LCD with less pixel spacing and obviously a brighter image. This brighter LCD does come with a small price of a little more cooling fan noise and heat being pulled. The fan noise is negligible over the program sound. The V6 has wifi included and I used it to upgrade the firmware. The cheaper projector didnt have the capability. This projector comes with a nice backpack case which I dont plan on using since I will be hanging the projector from the ceiling. I wouldve liked to see another accessory instead, maybe batteries for the remote? This V6 projector from Yaber is a great buy and value for the price when using the promotional coupon. I recommend getting one or gifting one for a large living room, workroom, play room, or even used outdoors at night. For a small bedroom, for example, this might be overkill since you can only reduce the size of the image to 60%

> 3 dayThis review could be a little long but I believe it is helpful if you want to know about the V6 projector. I got my Yaber V6 about 10 days ago from Amazon during a special deal. The overall quality is really great with brightness, color, sharpness, & features. Wi-Fi & Bluetooth made it easy to update firmware and connect to devices. The picture quality is sharp edge to edge even with a good amount of digital vertical keystone or zoom down adjustment. So far I ran the projector for a total of 50 hours in 10 days .. about 5 hours a day ...projected on 102” off-white wall, 88” pulled-down screen, and 78” pegboard gray screen. All 16 x 9 picture quality are great with the 3 different screen sizes. The picture setting is fully adjustable. The picture is quite acceptable during daytime with the shades closed. I usually use it at night for the best picture ...the picture profile is adjustable and I did a little tweaking for the various screens and made it very enjoyable. For sound, I use the 1/8” audio output connected to a Bose music wave unit. It took a little tweaking on the sound menu to get the right bass and treble to my liking. It depends on the type of speakers you have. For HD video, I use a Roku 4K premiere, a great little unit that suits all my streaming media requirements running at 1080p. I can run the Roku phone app to get the private listening feature through headphones or AirPods. I find projector Bluetooth audio via AirPod has a little static when at higher volume but seems to be ok when output to Bose music speakers. Screen mirroring via V6 projector is sluggish but it is ok. Mirroring via the Roku 4K premiere is far better in performance. The menu interface is easy to use and many option to tweak to one’s preference. The unit doesn’t get too hot and cools off quickly after shutdown. The running fan noise is ok during operation. The internal speaker is loud and clear and quite acceptable for news and regular shows. I think Yaber V6 is the best choice out there and I plan to use it as a workhorse putting lots of mileages to it in the days to come. It will be a good test for the coming summer days to see how it performs in warmer situations. I did an extensive spec comparison amount all the available Yaber and other brands projectors in the $200 to $300 price range. Yaber V6 is the top choice for price, quality, & features . Look for super Amazon deal when it is below $200. I also like the fact it came with a nice carrying case, the necessary cables, and a printed easy to understand thorough manual .

> 3 dayA decent projector, but falls a bit short (for things that matter most to me) when compared to the Vankyo V630W. Here are the differences and fails: 1. Although it claims a 7500 lux, its a bit dimmer and washed out compared to the 6800 lux Vankyo. 2. The feel on the focus knob is cheap. Although the focus itself is comparable, it feels like the focus knob could break at any moment. 3. A dolby digital logo appears at the left bottom when watching movies with that sound profile. Some things that are better with this projector: 1. 4 point keystone is great. Am able to get a perfect rectangle wherever I place this. Cant do this with the Vankyo. But the focus wont be uniform across the image. Best to place in such a position that doesnt require keystone correction. 2. Remote is slightly better 3. Has bluetooth 4. Has a decent/clean interface Some things they share: 1. Same level of fan noise, both are relatively quiet. 2. Size: Theyre not portable, but a carrying case is included in both. 3. Theyre both entry level 1080p projectors and provide great value. Overall: If youre looking for a starter projector where the bulb is expected to last a while and youre going to watch movies in a dark room (basement) then either of these will work. For me the Vankyo V630W is slightly better for the same price.

> 3 dayFor the price point it isn’t too bad. I had a problem after using twice. Customer Service told me to contact Amazon and do an exchange. Which I did. Second projectors throw is about 2ft off from every corner from my first one. Contacted customer service numerous times and no response. Based off other reviews it’s a matter of time before it fails. Which, by that point Amazon won’t return and you won’t get a hold of customer service. If you can gamble $200 on a projector it’s probably worth it. Any projector on Amazon at this price point is a crap shoot anyway (if it works and for how long). Some reviews have great luck with customer service but I have had a terrible experience.

> 3 dayGreat initial image quality but after only 2 months, the projected image developed significant horizontal dark lines in the middle of the screen. Contacted Yaber customer support to exercise the 3 year warranty for a replacement and was told that none were in stock (even though its still selling on Amazon). They did not even offer another of their projector models. So I was supposed to wait indefinitely for a replacement, which I obviously wasnt going to do. I am now returning it for a full refund. Will update this review if they dont follow through with a full refund. UPDATE: I was refunded the full cost of the projector but was required to pay the return shipping (about $38 via USPS) which I had let them know when I emailed them the tracking number. A week and a half later they are now asking me to take down this review and are also saying they will give me $70 for my troubles. That great! But I will not be taking down this review. Buyer be warned, this projector is sold under a few other names: WiMiUS K1, DBPOWER RD828, TOPTRO X1 and Im sure a few others. Im quite sure Yaber does not actually make this, but only pedals it from a global supplier. Yaber is only acting as a salesman so to speak (along with all the other brands of this projector). Update 2: Changed from 1 star to 5 simply because of the outstanding effort in customer support. I was pleased to have received another projector after going through the trouble of returning the 1st one. The 2nd one had a jammed lens that required some effort to free but it works fine now. But i cant complain being that they provided it free of charge after the 1st being fully refunded. I will update to 3 stars if this one fails prematurely with more lines. Thank you Yaber customer support.

> 3 dayOK, I ended up keeping the Yaber V6 after I’d kicked myself for not learning a bit more about projectors before ordering. I was particularly frustrated to learn that a lumen is not a standardized unit. For example, a volt is a volt is a volt. If it wasn’t there’d be some nasty accidents but when it comes to lumens, for some reason there’s something other than the ANSI lumen and, not knowing this was my fault. I naturally assumed, the higher the lumens the brighter the image only to learn (after purchasing the Yaber V6) that 4000 lumens (ANSI) is way brighter than the 7500 lumens (LED/LCD...still not quite sure of the correct definition or how they arrived at the unit) that the Yaber has. I’ve since learned that 7500 lumens ANSI would be incredibly bright, way more than you’d need to watch something in broad daylight. Anyway, with that gripe out of the way, we use the Yaber V6 once the sun goes down outside with a 120” pull down screen. You can only just see the image before the sun goes down but the image is very good once the sun has gone down. Nice HD and one tip that maybe useful to some is: Bluetooth from your Firestick rather than from the projector. I ended up doing that as the lag was significantly reduced compared to Bluetoothing from the projector. The firestick, Bluetooth and using YouTube TV meant that all I had to do was put a power outlet in the ceiling, install the ceiling mount for the projector and hang the pull down screen. No other wiring required. All done for under $500, projector $211, screen $237, ceiling mount $19.99 and firestick $29.99. New power outlet was just a couple of bucks. So for the money it’s really quite an impressive set up (after the sun has gone down)

Greater than one weekI finally broke down and bought a projector, and is it everything I imagined and More? You bet! I have experience working with projectors for large tech colleges and I always loved using then for whatever I could imagine. For some, this will replace your TV for other its a fun thing to pull out for parties of nights in wanting to watch your favorite movie or show huge on a wall. Its easy to use with usb and hmdi, remote is very simple and to the point if not a little small. Ive worked on some projectors with more features and settings, but honestly you dont need to much unless youre a Imax or 4k quality snob. Gaming is awesome on this, Nintendo Switch or PS4 (Xbox works too) also plugging in my computer is simple via hdmi. With USB you can put your favorite videos, pictures, or music on it and it should play them. Certain file types may need conversion, .mkv and some .avi may need to be converted to .mp4 (use handbrake, its free) the sound is very nice and can literally be heard from every room in my house when its halfway up. I never turn it above 20 out of 100 volume (I think its 100, I never did turn it all the way as I didnt want to blow the speakers, just in case) This is something my 50 year old mother could easily use and does sometimes, this is a woman who hates gps because she cant figure it out. Not all mobile devices will work for bluetooth streaming, and you should check if your phone has compatible bluetooth before purchase. Its great with the windows open, though on extremely sunny days it can be blown out. Its always best in darker environments, but I use it with my windows open all the time and it works great. Use it as a dual screen for your pc, or your new home entertainment system, maybe even for your gaming system.

Greater than one weekOkay! We built a movie theater/bar in our basement last year do to covid and just wanted the ability to have movie nights on a big screen! Ive got a 120 screen that we use this projector on and I couldnt be happier with it. Pictures is very clear and bright. The speaker on the projector works well for what it is but I did hook up my 6 channel surround to it and just makes it feel more like Im in a theater! Ive even tried gaming on it and the 72hz does well at keeping up! However, after 5 months of owning the projector we ended up getting green lines across the screen coming from the projector. Amazons return policy was only a month but yaber offers a 3 year warranty with this product so I contacted the company. Within a weeks time I had all in information I needed and sent the projector out to them and once they received mine they sent me a new one. I even got the tracking info so I knew right when it was gonna be at my door. The company took good care of me and Im very thankful! Only down side is I did have to pay shipping and handling to ship it to the company but Im not gonna complain about $40 dollars for replacing me with a whole new one! Now Im able to enjoy my move theater again plus the company did say I got a defective product so my warranty is still good! Thank you so much yaber for a great product and your good customer service! Happy to share my store!

Greater than one weekI purchased this projector after my husband had paid double the price for a bulky projector with worse quality. This projector has been great to us so far in how often we use it. We had a sound bar as well but the speaker it comes with is sufficient enough to fill our living room through to our kitchen. Im happy with the quality, im suuper happy about the price because I wasnt going to pay $1000+ to have a projector for fun. Also this model was super important to be because i was able to attach it to my ceiling mount with no problem. Big win there.
