> 3 dayI was looking for a budget friendly projector to use temporarily until my projector room is finished. The price of the Yaber V6 fit the bill of what I was looking for so I took the chance. Setup is very simple and quick. Picture quality is good but not amazing. I have the projector set up about 15 from the wall creating a 120 screen. I am also using a cheap cloth type screen also purchased from Amazon so that may have a little to do with the overall picture quality. I have the projector setup in a basement with minimal ambient light. When the overhead lights are turned on the image becomes a little washed out but is still watchable. Best viewed in a dark space. My only complaint is there was a black artifact in the image around the right center of the screen. It was clearly something on the inside. Rather than returning the projector I opened it up and found a small sliver of white plastic stuck to the screen on the inside. I removed it and now its good to go. I cant speak to the longevity of the projector as I have only had it for about 2 weeks. Overall I would recommend to someone who is looking for a cheap projector but would caution that it most likely would not stand up against a more expensive mainstream brand.

> 3 dayDefinitely a good projector. Projection distance (long throw): Keep in mind that this is not a short throw, the projector needs to be approximately 12 feet away from the wall to reach a screen size of 100 inches. Video quality HD (1080p): When connected via cable (HDMI) it delivers a very good quality 1080p, even with a 100 size projection screen, without noticing any pixels or distortion. It has a manual focus, cannot be focused with the remote. Wireless Streaming: However, if you want to stream a movie using your iPhone, or android Phone, or a tablet, or a laptop, then its no good at all. The video playback streaming is unable to keep up with the movie, its impossible to stream movies, including youtube. We tried both miracast and ios streaming, both failed to stream wirelessly to the projector. The only thing you can stream wirelessly, are static images, such as pictures, or presentations without video. The only solution to stream videos, its to connect a streaming device dongle, such as Firestick TV, Apple TV, or anything else with reliable good quality wireless video streaming abilities. We going to try with few dongles and well update this review. Lets see if we can wirelessly stream videos and movies. Audio: when the audio is connected via bluethooth to external speakers, there is a noticeable audio delay compared to the video. You can clearly see movies actors moving their lips out of synch with their voice. This projector doesnt offer an audio setting to adjust the audio delay. It must be done with external applications. External Hard Drive: it reads NTFS format external drives, but when trying to play 4k movies, the projector cannot read the files properly, and it cannot play 4k movies. If you want to play movies, you have to use an external device with HDMI connection (such as laptop, or TV boxes (firestick, chromcast, etc.) 4k compatible: Also, this projector is not 4k. They use the term 4k compatible, it means that anything you plug that is 4k will be projected at 1080p maximum. Its not truly 4k compatible, because it cannot handle reading 4k movies. UPDATE: We were contacted by YABER for a refund, as long as we shipped the projector back, and as long as we removed this negative review. Our answer to YABER was: No, we are not desperate to get $250 back, and not willing to compromise our integrity. This review is here to help customers understand the pro and cons of this projector. Some customers dont have enough technical knowledge to make an informed decision, so we are offering our technical knowledge to help Amazon customer making the right choice.

> 3 dayFor the value for money, this is an excellent projector. The display is excellent. The features are excellent. The picture is clear. There is a cover for the lens. The sound is reasonably good. I bought a M1+ Viewsonic and had to return and got this instead. In fact I have returned two projectors in the recent past that I bought on Amazon and then got this. I will keep this Yaber V6. However couple of things a buyer should know. 1. No battery back up. So power goes, this projector shutsdown. 2. Connecting to Android is not successful. I dont know if it will connect on oher Androids, but my Moto g power wont connect. 3. The keystone features are excellent, but it is manual. You have to go into settings and adjust - vertical and sides (all four sides). The keystone adjustment is versatile. Perfect. But like M1+ it is not automatic. 4. It is not cute small like Viewsonic M1+. It is bulky and so good for a portable stand or ceiling fixed viewing, in which case keystone etc. doesnt matter. Wifi works well. Blue tooth didnt connect to my Android, although it connected to my Mac. I really like the picture quality compared to the two previous projectors I bought. Although I would have got a gift if I put in 5 stars, I cannot do that. Now you know why it is 5 star for all the other reviews. Overall it is a good projector buy for your home theater, comparing the price and the performance.

> 3 dayI bought a few different models to see about setting up an AtmosFX projection setup in my house for Halloween. I bought two $100 models, and this one that was just under $200. For those that are looking at the numbers and dont completely understand, Lumens does not Equal ANSI Lumens, which also does not equal LUX. All can be shown as L. ANSI Lumens is a standard rating that is based on a number of things that are all measured. Lumens is a number that can be different from one company to another, depending on how they measure it. Lux is a measure of illuminance, the total amount of light that falls on a surface. LUX is not used by everyone, so it is not easy to determine either. This projector is overall close to 1000 ANSI Lumens, I have another projector that is 1000, and this is very close. The one difference is that the Projector blows out the bright areas, the edges of the image that would be brightest, tend to be very blown out. For my projection this works really well. The feature of the 4 point adjustment allows you to put the system off to the side and still square things up. It also has a zoom out to about 50%, so that it can throw a long distance. The menu system is a bit different than the other two projectors I go, but does work off the USB drive for the projections. A few other notes - There is no mounting points on the projector, so you cannot ceiling mount it without some sort of platform, although the software does allow you to invert, or flip the image. Projector fires almost straight out, so if you put it on the ground, it will have part of the image on the ground. The little foot to raise it, doesnt do much. Plan to put something under it to raise it up.

> 3 dayI bought this projector to replace another cheaper one from Amazon. The Yaber V6 has greater brightness than the other brand, for only a few dollars more. I used it primarily in my garage which has one normal-sized window behind the projector, and smaller windows built into the garage door. During the day, with daylight shining through the windows, the projected image can be seen on the white-painted brick wall. At night the image is bright and clear. I cant wait to see the image pop when I install my retractable screen. As for features, the V6 is simple in design. Two HDMI, A/V, and USB input to choose from. The remote is simple lacking dedicated feature buttons like other brands. I mostly use it to power on/off, input selection, and volume control. I use an Amazon Firestick with the V6 and it works flawlessly. The sound volume and clarity are very good for a single speaker unit. The sound stays in sync with the picture, no refresh necessary. One of the biggest features of the V6 is the four corners digital keystone correction. You can install the projector on an angle then pull or push the corners of the image to the size you want. Very easy to use and adjust. Unlike the cheaper projectors that dont have digital keystone, those you have to place the projector exactly in front of what you are projecting onto. Another reason I returned the cheaper one. This Yaber V6 has greater illumination as you can see from the photo taken at night in my garage prior to the return of the other projector. The brightness and quality of the image are apparent, even when seen on a brick wall. The left image in the picture is the V6 with a 130ish projection. Getting closer to the wall you can see the pixels of the V6 are closer together than the cheaper projector. This results in a way better image quality, as you can see. Even though both projectors are 1080p capable, the V6 has a better LCD with less pixel spacing and obviously a brighter image. This brighter LCD does come with a small price of a little more cooling fan noise and heat being pulled. The fan noise is negligible over the program sound. The V6 has wifi included and I used it to upgrade the firmware. The cheaper projector didnt have the capability. This projector comes with a nice backpack case which I dont plan on using since I will be hanging the projector from the ceiling. I wouldve liked to see another accessory instead, maybe batteries for the remote? This V6 projector from Yaber is a great buy and value for the price when using the promotional coupon. I recommend getting one or gifting one for a large living room, workroom, play room, or even used outdoors at night. For a small bedroom, for example, this might be overkill since you can only reduce the size of the image to 60%

Greater than one weekThis is my second projector. I purchased another one here on Amazon. And I returned it because the keystone was limited and the picture would get blurry on the outside edges of the screen. It also wasn’t as bright and sharp as I wanted. This projector basically resolved all those issues and it was around the same price. PROS - 4D Keystone adjustment makes it easy to adjust the screen to the exact size and corners of your screen without getting blurry. - Projector doesn’t have to be placed in the center. Because of the 4d keystone you can place this projector in a corner and just adjust the keystone to make it a perfect rectangle from an angle. - The sharpness or picture quality is amazing and HD. There is no blurriness when adjusting the keystone like you find with other projectors. - Loud speakers. Although I can connect this to my AV receiver using a Bluetooth adapter or wire, the projector internal speakers are extremely loud on their own. You really don’t need any external speakers if you don’t want or have them. - Easy to set up. I didn’t even bother reading the manual and I was able to figure out how to set up everything. - Works great with a tv stick like a roku. - All the ports are on the back so your roku or Amazon stick don’t stick out on the side and look unsightly. CONS - The remote isn’t back lit so it’s hard to see what you’re pressing in a dark room. - The fan is a little loud but eventually you forget it’s there as you’re watching your shows. - Bluetooth works but there is a slight delay which became annoying. You’re better off using the internal speakers of the projector or using a hardwire. - I noticed that HBO max and Disney + sound stopped working. I had to change the sound setting of my roku to stereo to resolve it. All the other streaming services seemed to work without having to make that adjustment. - You won’t be able to properly mirror certain streaming services using your device because they are blocked by those services for projectors. So be sure you get a roku or amazon stick to fix this. - I wish when you turned the projector turned on it would just default to the last input. But instead you will be brought to the main screen where you need to select the input again. It feels like an extra step that could be fixed with a software update. All and all I’m happy with this projector. The price is right and the quality is high. I don’t know if I’ll go back to using my 65 inch tv at this point. Lol

> 3 dayOK, I ended up keeping the Yaber V6 after I’d kicked myself for not learning a bit more about projectors before ordering. I was particularly frustrated to learn that a lumen is not a standardized unit. For example, a volt is a volt is a volt. If it wasn’t there’d be some nasty accidents but when it comes to lumens, for some reason there’s something other than the ANSI lumen and, not knowing this was my fault. I naturally assumed, the higher the lumens the brighter the image only to learn (after purchasing the Yaber V6) that 4000 lumens (ANSI) is way brighter than the 7500 lumens (LED/LCD...still not quite sure of the correct definition or how they arrived at the unit) that the Yaber has. I’ve since learned that 7500 lumens ANSI would be incredibly bright, way more than you’d need to watch something in broad daylight. Anyway, with that gripe out of the way, we use the Yaber V6 once the sun goes down outside with a 120” pull down screen. You can only just see the image before the sun goes down but the image is very good once the sun has gone down. Nice HD and one tip that maybe useful to some is: Bluetooth from your Firestick rather than from the projector. I ended up doing that as the lag was significantly reduced compared to Bluetoothing from the projector. The firestick, Bluetooth and using YouTube TV meant that all I had to do was put a power outlet in the ceiling, install the ceiling mount for the projector and hang the pull down screen. No other wiring required. All done for under $500, projector $211, screen $237, ceiling mount $19.99 and firestick $29.99. New power outlet was just a couple of bucks. So for the money it’s really quite an impressive set up (after the sun has gone down)
