> 3 dayNeeded an umbrella that would fit in my backpack for work. This is perfect. The umbrella folds up and fits in one of the mesh bottle carriers on the side of the backpack. The button release on the handle works smoothly and is easy to use. The venting in the fabric also seems to help with wind resistance to help from turning inside out in strong winds. Very happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is a sturdy one. You can carry it in your pocket book and feel comfortable that if it is raining and windy you will stay dry

Greater than one weekOverall this is a good umbrella however mine is slow to completely open. It stops just short of opening so I need to shake it to so the canopy becomes rigid and completely open. Also one time the open/close button jammed .. while raining of course. Maybe I have a defected umbrella. The nylon and handle seem well made and sturdy. I would have given 5 stars if there was no issue with auto open.

> 3 dayGot this for my daughter whos going to college in the Dallas area. Her first week there, an enthusiastic thunderstorm whooshed thru, & she got to test it. It had no problem standing up to the gusts & keeping her dry (well the part covered by the umbrella, at any rate). The umbrella is a little wider than the norm; it can fit two. Its also a little bit heavier than average with its sturdy structure that can stand up to wind gusts; however, my daughter didnt find its weight to be a problem. Were all definitely pleased with this purchase!

> 3 dayI used this umbrella four or five times to walk from the parking lot and back. I tried to use it the other day the button broke down. I tried to push up the umbrella that didnt work well. I am going to buy another one. Not that brand.
