needed a replacement compact umbrella for a trip to NYC. fair amount of rain several days and very very windy along the avenues as usual. canopy never flipped and kept me very dry. strongly recommend. about lightweight...its not heavy, but it does have heft. nonetheless, my 70-something mother managed it just fine.

I used this umbrella four or five times to walk from the parking lot and back. I tried to use it the other day the button broke down. I tried to push up the umbrella that didnt work well. I am going to buy another one. Not that brand.

I got this umbrella to replace the 15-year-old grocery store special I accidentally left on the bus. I really like how sturdy and hefty it is, and the handle is comfortable to hold, although I wish it was a bit longer. It works as advertised, although I havent tested it in wind, so I cant comment on that. Closing it using the button is extremely handy, too. I appreciate that feature a lot. The best part is, it fits in my purse, so maybe I can avoid losing it on the bus in the future. Overall, its a great umbrella. Highly recommended.
