I can only take Vitamin C as Ester C because regular Ascorbic Acid and some brands of Calcium Ascorbate gives me stomach pain. This and Sisu Ester C, are the only brands of Vitamin C Ive tried that do not upset my stomach. Pure Encapsulations wins above Sisu as it has no magnesium stearate and specifies the 2 types of flavonoids it contains (quercetin and rutin), rather then just listing flavonoids. Pure Encapsulations is a highly reputable company which is recommended by Naturopaths.

1. Yellow color powder oozing out of all capsules ! 2. I had ZERO therapeutic effect, after trying this for 6 days - No surge in energy, no reduction in histamine load or inflammation, NO improvement in sleep and No collagen boosting. 3. Limited number of flavonoids - only rutin & quercetin. No hesperidin. And No Full spectrum flavonid complex like having polyphenol, rose hips etc Do NOT recommend this product. I am going back to my favourite - Solgar Ester C plus 250 cap edition that works like a charm !

Its just good stuff especially when you double the amount when the cold or flu is upon you.

I am 72 years old and have had stabbing pains in my knees when going down stairs. I also have had some symptoms of arthritis in my fingers. A friend of mine suggested that I try Ester-C to help relieve the pain. I initially tried a brand that was huge pills I gagged on. Even so, I took them twice a day and they did help to eliminate the pain in my knees and fingers. When I could no longer tolerate taking the two huge pills, the pain came back. So, I decided to try this brand. These pills are so much easier to swallow and and after taking two a day for less than a month, the pains went away again. For me, this brand is just as effective as the one I was taking before, but so much easier to swallow. At this point, I no longer get any pain in my knees when going down stairs and my legs feel much stronger than they did before. I have also noticed that my finger joints are not locked when I wake up every day. Considering the improvements since taking this supplement, this is one that I will continue to take.

Excellent quality. I used it during the entire flu season and never got sick. On my second bottle. Just ordered another bottle (3rd) to keep an extra bottle in case there is shortage due the Coronavirus. We must keep our immune system strong to prevent any illness. I have tried several other ones, but this one is very effective. Take one at night before going to sleep wake up in the morning feeling really full energy !!

Tampered with prior to arrival

The only negative I have about this product is that the pills are hard for me to swallow. Could just be me, but the pill has a large ridge where the capsule goes together and that’s what gets hung up in my throat. Otherwise, I wouldn’t take any other product for my vitamin C supplement. I’ve used Pure Encapsulations products for years and they don’t disappoint.
