04-06-2025Cats need their front claws clipped regularly and they typically hate the process. I shied away from spending a lot of money on clippers but I was wrong to do that. Once I bought this pair, I could see instantly how much better they are. The best part? They clip the nails without splitting and they do such a good job, I dont have to clip my kitties paws as often.

> 3 dayHighly recommend these trimmers for cat nails. They are easy to use and they trim very cleanly without leaving little bits like the other pet nail trimmers I have used over the years.

> 3 dayI was reluctant, to be honest. The price seemed too reasonable. The cat paw prints put me off a bit. I needed these to trim birds nails. But theyre perfect in every way. Clean. Easy to handle even while trying to hold a little bundle of feathers still. And the clip was effortless and clean. Youd have to know how important this Little Guy is to me to fully understand my concern, and believe me, if there had been even the slightest bit of trouble, Id post. Just the thought of possibly causing him ANY discomfort had me terrified. But the manicure needed to be done and avian vets are so scarce so, it was me or nobody. So? We did what we had to do. And YES, I DO recommend these clippers. And I imagine theyd be as great for cats or dogs too!

> 3 dayI’ve used them about 4 times now and haven’t had any issues. They are very sharp so it’s a clean cut every time, no splintering or breaking after clipping them either. I will definitely purchase agin when needed!

> 3 dayI like these clippers more than the typical kind that grasp or close in on the cats nails. Theyre lighter and less imposing to the novice than the typical kind. However, in both cases you need a cooperative cat. I suggest viewing a few videos before you decide whether to buy or not and to consider your cats disposition and reaction to having their nails cut as well as their nails themselves. My cat is very mellow almost all of the time, but his nails are sacrosanct. This means that its best to approach this as something that happens over multiple days and ideally when hes groggy. Its difficult to tell where the quick is on his nails, so while I had the powder nearby in case of bleeding, I employed the burrito method, where one wraps the cat in a blanket, and I was conservative with how much I clipped off. I didnt cause any bleeding, but his nails grew to a point where I heard him again as he sauntered across the hardwood floors...and felt him when he pawed at me. Fortunately, soon after, vets/pet groomers were open for routine appointments again, so I had them cut his nails to see the difference. They cut much more nail than I, though they hit the quick on one of them. Am I out of the nail-cutting business? No, Im still in the learning phase. For now, I see my role as giving my cat trims in-between visits to the vet/groomer, and this is a good product to work with.

> 3 dayMy cats don’t like getting their nails cut. But these were so quick and easy to use, and razor sharp, that it made nail cutting easy. After some ketamine, we simply declawed the kittens fully. Love how sharp these were! After some more ketamine, we woke up feeling refreshed as our depressive fog lifted, realizing we had no cats, but were cats with stylish nails. 10/10 will become kitkat clock in future trimmings

02-06-2025Love these clippers! We have a lot of cats, and most of them behave like we are trying to kill them whenever we need to trim their claws. These clippers are so thin and sharp, I do the first five claws before the cat even knows whats happening! And they very easily even cut nicely through those fat old-cat claws. Sure, they are more expensive, but worth every penny! I wished I had found them years ago, I would have saved our cats and myself a lot of stress!

Greater than one weekI have an 8 week old kitten that insists on climbing up my legs, let me tell you what a huge difference these clippers made. Of course I had to wrap him in a towel, giving me about 30 seconds to get this done. I had bigger clippers for our dog that worked but were hard to handle. I then used people nail clippers, but it didnt cut smoothly. His little nails literally grow back in days, so it was time to buck up and buy something. Glad I went with these Necoichi clippers, they were so easy to handle and really sharp so the nails cut perfectly clean, got the front paws done in one session and the rear paws will be next. Ill have to look into their other products, since clearly they put out nice quality.
