Holy Cow! This hook is so useful! I ordered one and then another, in case I lost the first one. With this thing, I havent had a single spill when filling up. I ordered about six in total for friends.

Unsure how to rate this since the hose attachment was too short, I’m afraid when I use the hook it will pull on my tank. Company will not respond to email. As of right now I would say keep using buckets or buy cheaper store brand. :/

If you have a Python water changing kit you should definitely have this item as well. Makes things much easier and worry free.

My siphoning kit would not be complete without this product. I have a 55 gallon tank and it is tedious to clean and fill. This hook makes life easier and allows me to add my water change solution to the tank as it fills. Fish are fit, healthy, and happy.

I only used this item a few times. Wish I hadnt bought it as it was a waste of money. While it does hook over the rim of the aquarium and stays put, it is unnecessary and more trouble than its worth to disconnect and reconnect after suction. Because the end faces straight down, it tends to move whatever is placed under the flow and blows the substrate around. Its quicker and easier for me to just turn the valve to off on the syphon tube, go to the faucet and lower the connector to the fill position, come back to the aquarium and turn the valve to on to fill the aquarium with the syphon tube. I can place the tube wherever I want it and it stays put without blowing my bowl/plate/whatever around to protect the substrate.
