Python Hands-Free and Spill Free Aquarium Hook, Green

This attachment is easy to figure out. You just remove the end of the python hose and screw this in instead. It works the same way- with the lever that shuts water flow on/off. However, just note that if you have a thicker lipped aquarium (like I do because I have an acrylic aquarium) the attachment will probably still hook on but instead of water coming straight down it will be at an angle (which for me is fine, it still provides hands free filling).

This product makes it so much easier to fill the fish tank. I was refilling with buckets of water but this just gets hooked up to the edge of the tank and turn on the faucet No more water dripping on the floor

Wish had more attachments.

Purchased this with the 25ft Python vacuum system and could not be happier! Now a job that took well over an hour takes about 20 minutes and is a breeze to do. I highly recommend this system to anyone who dreads the job of cleaning and replacing aquarium water!

Very leaky, even after washer replaced.

Works fantastic. Makes filling the tank super easy. I bought an aquaclear filter intake that fits over the end and it can do water changes and diffuse the flow blowing down into sand on refill.

Frankly its kind of a stupid waste of an accessory. I just leave the siphon attached when I refill the tank. Ive used it a couple of times but I would say dont waste your money.

I was on the fence about buying this since it seemed expensive for something you might not need but I was wrong. I have several large tanks that I do water changes on by myself and I use this every single time. You can hook it on and walk around the house while it fills up your tank. I was always paranoid about the regular gravel vacuum part flying out of the tank and the water spraying everywhere. This way I know its secure. It also makes sense if you have a large tank to fill up so you dont have to stand there and watch it all day while it takes a long time to fill up. Anyway, if you do a lot of water changes, this makes your life so so much easier and makes you feel secure. You probably think the Python was a game changer. Add this, and itll improve your tank maintenance experience a lot more.

The Python system is awesome. This hook is a must have for refilling. It makes aquarium life so much easier.
