Python Hands-Free and Spill Free Aquarium Hook, Green

Dont know why I waited so long to get this. Saves a lot of effort now that I dont have to stand there holding the hose while my tank refills from a water change on my 72 gallon.

This thing has made my water changes so much faster. If you are on the fence and thinking about ordering this, DO IT. It is the bees knees.

This eliminates the use of the 5-gallon bucket that I was using. Makes the maintenance of my tanks super easy and not as much of a hassle. I no longer dread cleaning my tanks.

We got this along with the Python No Spill Clean and Fill Aquarium Maintenance System for our 36 gallon aquarium and it works great! It attaches easily to the python and makes water changes so much easier! Once it’s attached to the python you just put the hook over the tank, turn the faucet on and voilà! Clean water goes straight into your tank for a no-mess water change! If you are putting tap water in, be sure to add water conditioner into the tank RIGHT BEFORE you turn the water on for the safety of the fish. Also just a note that this is only for adding clean water into your tank-not for removing tank water. Love this “hook”!

I like this product. It is easy to use and not very messy. I put a towel over the sink to keep overspray from getting sink area wet. I called customer service for help connecting the Python attachment to my sink. They were very helpful. I highly recommend this product.

The python hook is a great addition to the python water change system. It hangs on the side of any aquarium without falling off. It attaches easily to the threaded connection on the python hose, and would probably connect to competitor water change systems as well. My only criticism is that in a shallow tank the water spraying directly down from the hook can disturb the substrate. This is easily solved by adding a PVC elbow or placing a colander under the outlet. But I feel for the price of this product they should include some attachment to direct the flow of water going into the tank.

This really helps refilling your tank a breeze! If you have more than one tank I would consider this an essential piece of equipment to have. So much better than breaking you back with carrying heavy buckets of water and getting water all over your wife’s floors! I was very impressed with how sturdy it was and how thick the plastic is. I thought the price was a bit high, but I am pleased with the aquarium hook overall. And wife is happy I am not spilling water all over the house anymore. BTW, I use this in conjunction with the Python system and it is awesome!
