Q-tips have always been the most reliable cotton swap. They are firm but comfortable when cleaning ears. They can also be used for cleaning keyboards and a variety of other uses. This isnt an exaggeration. I suspect that most people familiar with this brand could easily figure out which is the q-tip and which are the generic cotton swaps when presented with many of them side by side.
