Greater than one weekIm not terribly picky when it comes to Qtips with the exception of 2 things - the handle has to be white (so they look uniform in my clear q-tip jar) and the cotton tips cant come unraveled easily. I mainly use q-tips to touch up my eye makeup, and for me, theres nothing more irritating than having a small cotton wisp tickling your eye (which of course, is almost impossible to see) -- it drives me insane! For the longest time, I was just using the Walmart brand (Equate) q-tips because they were the cheapest and fit my 2 requirements. However, Ive noticed that over the last 6-8 months, the Walmart ones have become poorer quality and Ive had more frequent annoying wisps getting in my eye (especially sticking to my mascara). When I saw this Q-tip brand on Amazon for only $2.99 (I believe this is $1 more than I was paying for the Equate brand for the 500-count pack), I decided to give them a try. These Q-tip brand swabs have been MUCH better and out of the 4 or so boxes Ive ordered thus far, Ive only have about 4-5 (on average) swabs that were semi-unwound per pack of 500 swabs (much better than the 10-15+ unwound swabs in the Equate packages). Ive also found that if some of the swabs start to slightly loosen (from me jamming them into my cotton swab jar), the cotton tips wind back up on the handle perfectly by gently twisting the tip against the back of my hand. (This trick was hit or miss with the Equate brand). For those who wear mascara -- As a side note, if you ever do happen to get one of those little annoying cotton wisps stuck in/around your eye, Ive found that gently and slowly stroking your eyelash with a mascara wand helps to both find the wisp (since it coats the wisp black) and get it out of your eye (because of the little bit of stickiness to the mascara). This little trick has saved me tons of time and torture! :)

> 3 dayThe quality has gone way down. I had some older Q Tips that are plush and have a lot more cotton. It was easy to see how Unilever has found cost saving efficiencies. See the photo and judge for yourself. The top Q Tip is the older one. The bottom one is from this advertised product.

> 3 dayThey are Qtips. You can use them for stuffing wax back in your ear. Applying make up. Cleaning out your belly button. I use mine to clean out my air brush machine for my make up. Fixing your nails. I can go on and on but Im pretty sure you know how to use a Qtip. BUT WHATEVER you do dont dig too deep that mess will make you see the afterlife.

> 3 dayThese are the hard paper sticks, the plastic ones seem to always poke through the swab on the end. Occasionally, you find the odd Q-tip without as much cotton on an end, but I just wanted to say, overall theyre great, as expected. I got the 500 count, single box (well, 2 of them). But, the cardboard tops (backs?) were peeling off a bit on one end. Lost a few in the shipping but the Q-tip contents looked otherwise undisturbed. We use them almost exclusively on ears. But if youre using them on baby parts or need them SUPER SANITARY, the opened box MIGHT bother some people. Not enough damage to return or formally complain. Will buy again.
