This worked well to wire my Radar detector in. I had the wires above the windshield and pulled away the weatherstripping to text the wire again how long the drivers door. The fuse tabs were the right size and the fuses that were included worked well.

Unfortunately once fuseTap is connected in the fuse box, cover cant be closed. This is something thats missing from all reviews, but it needs to be noted.

installed it and i have to put the wire a certain way for it to work. pretty much got a defect wire unfortunately.

Great kit to hardwire in my Escort 8500. Was super simple & the kit comes with everything youll need!

I tried using this on my escort radar but straight out of the box it did not work. I then tried to troubleshoot the issue and while taking the kit apart one of the fuse connectors ripped off. I haven’t had that issue with any sort of fuse so I’m guessing it was because it’s a no name brand. I recommend spending the extra couple bucks on a name brand or at least more known brand connector.

This product is outstanding and the company thought of everything. This kit included Three different fuse types to easily tap your fuse panel under the dash. The tap doesnt disturb the original circuit and provides a 5 amp fuse to power the device, in my case a radar detector. The uncoiled power cord allowed easy running up my A-Pillar to the head liner. The kit was packaged well, included multiple taps for three different fuse types including the three types of 5 ampere fuses, straight power cord of excellent length, and spare glass fuses for the in-line fuse leading to your device. The package also arrived the Next Day as advertised.
