It is an amazing mouse but is heavy.

Really nice mouse, Ive used razor products before and a lot of their mice were too big and bulky or felt odd in my hands. This one is perfect it’s small, it’s light and the batteries last forever. On top of that it doesn’t have all those fancy rgb lights on it Which is awesome, I just wanted a basic fast precise gaming mouse and for the price you really can’t beat it. 10/10

Peripheral Support 1. Navigate to the Apple Icon 2. Select System Preferences 3. Click on the Bluetooth icon 4. Turn off Bluetooth 5. Press both side buttons and the DPI button to ensure that the mouse is in pairing mode 6. Turn on Bluetooth 7. Search for Razer Atheris 8. Click on Pair in the Bluetooth menu to pair the device It turns out not reading the manual was my fatal flaw. I contacted Razer support and they guided me through how to pair a bluetooth Atheris on Mac. press both side buttons and DPI button. Now the mouse is working flawlessly on the Mac. With high resolution monitors, high DPI mouse is important as you can navigate the real estate much faster and accurately with high DPI mouse. The combination of high DPI, Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz option along with ergonomics of Razer mouse, this mouse can not be beaten by any other mouse. Only caveat is 350 hour battery life on Alkaline Batteries and that means a lot of AAs in the landfill. But it still is best performance option in the market. The joy of using a Razer mouse on Bluetooth on Mac is very satisfying. I will leave my idiocy below for others who can relate to it. * It no longer skips when paired properly. Skipping on Mac was caused by improper pairing. === Mac, Bluetooth does not work. I have brand new 2016 Mac Pro. When I try to connect over Bluetooth, it gyrates between connect and not connect state and end up in not connected. I bought this specifically for its bluetooth capability for Mac so it is a useless device for me now. With 2 USB-C, 2.4Ghz doggle is useless. Mouse itself is an excellent mouse. It has good weight for my style. Not too light not too heavy. Most of the weight comes from 2xAA batteries which is positioned in sharp V shape. Important stuff. All buttons click with light pressure which is important to me as I click a lot. Scroll wheel also feels light and clicky which is fine with me. I do not like heavy feel the wheel in some fancy mouse as it ends up being a drag on my finger in long run. 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth combo allows a mouse sharing setup between your PC and MAC. Lousy PCs which still doesnt even have a decent Bluetooth driver can use 2.4Ghz and use Bluetooth on Mac. and you can switch between them with a flick of a button on the mouse itself. Good concept and feature set listed convinced me this would have been a perfect mouse for it. Either Razer botched bluetooth implementation or they intentionally made it not work so you will have to use more expensive mouse. If Bluetooth connection, somehow, gets fixed, I will give this a 4 star. Its limited battery life really means this mouse can not be a main mouse. An auxiliary mouse does not deserve 5 star. Update : It skips on Mac. Utterly useless on Mac.

I just want to take a moment here to ward off any prospective buyers of this mouse. It is the single worse piece of equipment I have purchased. There are 2 options - a dongle-free bluetooth option or you can use the dongle. If you use the bluetooth option then be prepared for features such as 1) pointer stopping for 1-2 seconds every minute 2) massive lag 3) jumping pointer 4) 1-5 second lag time to become responsive after sitting idle for more than a minute. Using the dongle yields SLIGHTLY better responsiveness but ohhhhh boy do you pay for it. The company uses basic mouse functionality as a bargaining chip to get you to install their god awful, buggy, and annoying software - Synapse. Not only is it filled with bloatware, it gathers all sorts of data like mouse clicks and location and sends it to the company for who knows what purpose. Just to reiterate - if want the experience of controlling a mouse by having your disinterested and sleepy brother slap his hand over it and then manipulating his elbow then buy this mouse. (dont buy this mouse, its terrible)

It has been everything I needed with a cheap mouse. I needed something that would connect via Bluetooth and I haven’t needed to change batteries yet. I’ve owned the mouse for 6 months and use it for a few hours every day for work. I bought a 2nd mouse because it’s served me well. I keep 1 at work and 1 at home.

Absolutely love this mouse! It is definitely a bit smaller than your standard mouse and that made me nervous, especially since I have bigger hands - but I quickly got used to it and after a few hours it was more comfortable than my previous mouse which was more average in size. The AA batteries give it a nice weight and the click although not silent, is very satisfying and feels well built. I also enjoy the scroll wheel as it has a solid texture and is easy to be precise when scrolling. Very clean design and look.

    Greater than one week

I have 2 of these now - one for me and another for a family member. My family member’s mouse jumps around at times and I’m not sure why. Her mouse pad design has lines that may be causing this, but I have the same mouse pad and have had no issues. Otherwise, it’s a great mouse but the battery drains fast if you don’t turn it off when the computer is off.

Liked this mouse so much I bought a second one of my work PC. The Bluetook or 2.4Ghz choice is nice, use what you wish. The mouse works right out of the box. What I like is the battery life and precision, this meets my business needs (Excel, Word, Visio, etc) as well as my personal needs. Comfortable and easy to maintain and transport. I endorse this mouse!

On both Bluetooth and wireless USB I have to keep my laptop in direct line-of-sight to the mouse, otherwise, the tracking is choppy. I have a dock at work that sits on my left putting my keyboard between the laptop and mouse. Im right handed. I had to rearrange my desk to have my laptop to my right with nothing between in order to get smooth tracking. That aside, I usually only buy wired mice because I dont want to futs with charging or batteries. This isnt an issue with this one. It has a great battery life! Im still on the first set of batteries and Ive used this for 8 hours a day 6 days a week for about 2 months now. I also dont turn it off at the end of the day so the sleep mode works great! The wake up time is almost instant so I dont have to shake the thing awake either. Id recommend this to anyone that needs a small travel mouse as long as they dont mind rearranging their desk to keep the signal strength. Though, Im sure this isnt an issue for the majority.

Amazing little portable productivity mouse. It comes with a Bluetooth as well as a 2.4hz wireless dongle, so it makes working on 2 separate computers super easy. It’s also pretty durable, It’s been dropped it multiple times from table height multiple times and came out unscathed. The one drawback is that it’s rather uncomfortable for gaming, but that’s to be expected due to its small size.

With a pocket-sized form, the Razer Atheris will bring your A-game whether you"re on the battlefield or shuffling between meetings. The Razer Atheris is packed with features such as industry-leading signal stability, dual-connectivity, and over 200 hours of continuous use, all in a compact ergonomic body, focused on delivering performance and productivity.
