> 3 dayIve tried to love this mouse but it leave a room to be filled. this is definitely not a gaming mouse, it lags a bit and way to slow for anytime of gaming. I like that the 2.4 dongle can be stored in the mouse itself so it less likely to be lost. but whether you use it in bluetooth or 2.4 mode there is a noticeable lag. also the mouse goes to sleep by itself and takes maybe 1-2 seconds to wake up which I find extremely annoying. Anyway I was expecting more from Razer. this isnt a big improvement from the older version the orochi hopefully the next one will be the one.

> 3 dayIn Bluetooth mode, this is a pretty solid little mouse (assuming youre right-handed), but I found the 2.4GHz mode to be basically unusable. The mouse includes a pre-paired 2.4GHz transceiver, but with the mouse not more than 5 feet away from the computer, movement tracking was very sporadic. If I move the mouse in one direction at a constant speed, the mouse cursor stops periodically as if the computers temporarily lost communication with the mouse. This is even more noticeable (and problematic) in 3D games, where navigating your character or the camera with the mouse results in the character/camera lurching in unexpected directions with every other mouse movement. So, just always use the thing in Bluetooth mode, right? Well that only works if your computer is Bluetooth-equipped. I wanted to use this mouse with a desktop that lacks onboard Bluetooth. In order to use the mouse I had to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter (I picked up this one:

> 3 dayHow good is this mouse? I bought another one just in case Razer discontinues this one, so Ill have a backup. Perfect setup for a quality wireless mouse. Bluetooth band and 2.4ghz band means you can (technically) pick your frequency in case youre in a hotel thats flooded with 2.4 ghz. No problems, no issues, dual functionality.

Greater than one weekI needed a wireless setting for a Mac and it works all right. Bluetooth connection isnt as friendly on the Mac as it is on the PC, so I used the USB transmitter that came with. The transmitter isnt as powerful so make sure to plug it on the side youre going to use for maximum performance. OK for the price. Its not exactly a flawless product.

> 3 dayPeripheral Support 1. Navigate to the Apple Icon 2. Select System Preferences 3. Click on the Bluetooth icon 4. Turn off Bluetooth 5. Press both side buttons and the DPI button to ensure that the mouse is in pairing mode 6. Turn on Bluetooth 7. Search for Razer Atheris 8. Click on Pair in the Bluetooth menu to pair the device It turns out not reading the manual was my fatal flaw. I contacted Razer support and they guided me through how to pair a bluetooth Atheris on Mac. press both side buttons and DPI button. Now the mouse is working flawlessly on the Mac. With high resolution monitors, high DPI mouse is important as you can navigate the real estate much faster and accurately with high DPI mouse. The combination of high DPI, Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz option along with ergonomics of Razer mouse, this mouse can not be beaten by any other mouse. Only caveat is 350 hour battery life on Alkaline Batteries and that means a lot of AAs in the landfill. But it still is best performance option in the market. The joy of using a Razer mouse on Bluetooth on Mac is very satisfying. I will leave my idiocy below for others who can relate to it. * It no longer skips when paired properly. Skipping on Mac was caused by improper pairing. === Mac, Bluetooth does not work. I have brand new 2016 Mac Pro. When I try to connect over Bluetooth, it gyrates between connect and not connect state and end up in not connected. I bought this specifically for its bluetooth capability for Mac so it is a useless device for me now. With 2 USB-C, 2.4Ghz doggle is useless. Mouse itself is an excellent mouse. It has good weight for my style. Not too light not too heavy. Most of the weight comes from 2xAA batteries which is positioned in sharp V shape. Important stuff. All buttons click with light pressure which is important to me as I click a lot. Scroll wheel also feels light and clicky which is fine with me. I do not like heavy feel the wheel in some fancy mouse as it ends up being a drag on my finger in long run. 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth combo allows a mouse sharing setup between your PC and MAC. Lousy PCs which still doesnt even have a decent Bluetooth driver can use 2.4Ghz and use Bluetooth on Mac. and you can switch between them with a flick of a button on the mouse itself. Good concept and feature set listed convinced me this would have been a perfect mouse for it. Either Razer botched bluetooth implementation or they intentionally made it not work so you will have to use more expensive mouse. If Bluetooth connection, somehow, gets fixed, I will give this a 4 star. Its limited battery life really means this mouse can not be a main mouse. An auxiliary mouse does not deserve 5 star. Update : It skips on Mac. Utterly useless on Mac.

22-11-2024Its a great mouse and pretty much lives up to what its offering. I use it as my travel mouse. Its a little smaller than a normal mouse, so I guess that helps with the portability. But, as one who is used to a full-size mouse in my office, its not my favorite to use for long periods. But, it still gets the job done well enough. I found the bluetooth connection mode to be inferior to the 2. 4 Ghz Wireless adapter mode. In bluetooth mode, if I havent moved it for a little while, it would take a second or two to reconnect and move the cursor. So, that can be a little annoying depending on what you are doing. But, once you are actively using it without interruption in bluetooth mode, it seemed to work well enough. The 2. 4 Ghz Wireless adapter mode was reliable and responsive. Whenever possible, I think youll want to use that mode. Still, its nice to have both - and thats kinda why I bought this one. I like that in the unfortunate event that I somehow lose the 2. 4 Ghz wireless adapter, I can still use it in bluetooth mode. Also, you can use it on devices without USB that do have bluetooth. So, thats what makes this device great. Its very versatile by offering two wireless connection methods. If you expect to use this a lot, and if using a small mouse is a problem, maybe see if there is a similar option in a full size.

> 3 dayI dont have many options when it comes to a comfortable mouse for my hand size. I think from the tip of my middle finger to the end of my palm is about 6 inches, for reference. For that, and for the customization, feel, and sensitivity, Im giving it five stars. I use BT connection because its the easiest although I may try wireless soon. I had a wired Razer mouse before this that was an amazing mouse, but still too large for my hand. If youre a small-handed person who isnt going to be phased by other people comparing better but larger mice, then go with this one. I love it, and I like the weight since I would rather up the sensitivity than risk rage-throwing my mouse after I die in Farcry for the third time. I hope more companies are inspired to make smaller mice for their female base, but Razer is already ahead in that sense.

> 3 daySo far so good, have had a few issues with it not wanting to wake from a sleep state which causes a second of delay and no mouse input. Im sure there is a setting to turn that off but i have yet to find it. The mouse is a little smaller than i expected and also the battery life is not as good as i was hoping for. So far the battery has died once and iv only had it a few weeks. Quality is on par with the rest of the razer products.
