> 3 dayGreat wireless mouse for the cost. It is smaller than average, but that is by design. The extra buttons are great for gaming.

> 3 dayIf youre used to the small size of the Orochi, its not a bad mouse. However, I think its a slight downgrade in almost every way from the Orochi--removed two side buttons on the right side, is wireless only (heavier+uses batteries), and goes to sleep after only a minute or two (theres an option to configure this in synapse but it doesnt actually work...) The only real things it has going for it over the Orochi is price, and the side grips feel slightly nicer. Overall, though, Razer somehow manages to make each new iteration of the Orochi worse than the previous.

> 3 dayFor 30 bucks you cant lose. I have pictured the size comparison to the orochi v2 (my work mouse). I was using a v1 Razer viper ultimate on my personal laptop, but for mobile purposes, it was a little big. I came across the Atheris and it was a no brainer for the price. If you have medium sized hands, this will fit you like a glove. The rubber gripping on both sides is an amazing touch and with the 2 batteries it weights the mouse perfectly. The rear upward curve allows for your palm to rest nicely. Im not a big mouse gamer, so I cant attest to how good it is in that aspect, but for mobile purposes and everyday use, you will love this mouse. Its clicky, the Bluetooth is responsive and accurate.

> 3 dayPros for me: Small mobile size, good for claw grip. No wire, so less drag and no possibility of a wire getting stuck up on something, and it does not drift when i let go of it (a problem when using a low drag mouse pad with a wired mouse). Perfect tracking. In 2.4 ghz mode, I did not perceive any more or less latency compared to using a wired mouse. Able to set DPI in increments of 100 in the software, and very wide range of DPIs. No software CD included, guided me to download installer when i plugged in the USB receiver. No restart required. Software is optional, can just use plug and play, but then cant change DPI. I feel that the mouse is built well. Comes with 2 AA Energizer alkaline batteries in the box. When the connection does drop with 2.4 ghz receiver, it is only for a split second, and it recovers lost mouse movement, so you do not have to correct for the lost signal by repeating the same movements again. The new beta version of Razer Synapse that installs with this mouse is really clean and modern looking, instead of having the dated gamer aesthetic of the previous version. Cons for me: Kind of heavy with 2 AA batteries installed, have to overcome a lot of inertia and so is actually not so good for twitchy games in my opinion (but i can adjust to this). Rubber grips on sides are ironically slippery when hands are sweaty, more slippery than the textured plastic surface on the top of the mouse. Rubber also does not have longevity, it will get pretty gross and come apart over time. Connection is not too reliable with the 2.4 ghz receiver plugged in to my desktop under my desk, but i will get an extension cable to have it closer to the mouse. Razer Synapse software is a 100+ MB download with a lengthy install, not a serious problem in this present day of computing but it just seems way too large for something so basic (but it does manage settings for many other Razer products as well, not just this mouse). Requires you to make a Razer account, then to be online and to log in from the app, just to change DPI. Thats asinine. Other thoughts: I would have liked a built in rechargable lithium ion battery instead, for less weight and to not have to manage batteries. I would have preferred a textured plastic grip instead of rubber, because the rubber is more slippery than plastic when hands are sweaty.

> 3 dayUPDATE: Jul 8 2020 Changing back to 5 stars from 4, I did try the previous mouse with brand new batteries and seems ok. Hard to tell what happened, will keep using and see if the issue still happens. UPDATE: Jun 21 2020 I still think that the mouse is fantastic and way beyond excellent than MX Anywhere 2s. I will have to echo what a 2-star review said: Only lasted three months. It worked perfectly until I hit the 3-month mark. At that point it just died. Stopped tracking. Changed the batteries twice. Now, it just randomly stops. Ill pull the batteries out, put them back in, unplug the receiver, plug it back in. It will work fine for about 15 minutes and then freeze. Lather, rinse, rep That is exactly what is happening to me, bought another one brand new and everything seems fine, if use the older one bought few months ago it would work for about 15 - 20 min and then stops moving on the screen, then reconnects again, etc SUPER SUPER frustrating. Thinking that an OS update went horribly wrong and messed up the drivers had to reinstall the OS and tools to find out that issues was still there. This is when I purchased the second mouse and all is well now. This means I have hopefully a few months before it goes dead. This is an extremely well tracking mouse and ergonomically perfect, I even dropped the use of high perming Logitech G305 in favor of this one. Hopefully razed keeps this formula exactly as is just workout the bugs. Im ok paying higher price if this is rock solid reliability like the logitech is. Removed 1 star for this to bring attention, other than that this is an extremely top notch mouse - when it works. Sadness creeps in to see this model die because of not listening to customers. ORIGINAL: Feb 4, 2020: FANTASTIC ! Way better than the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S both in precision, DPI adjustments and feel better in hand as well but that can be a subjective thing. The critical tech wise is it miles better than the 2S, precision, DPI adjustments accross platforms and OSes. For logitech there is some software to be installed to barely tune the DPI - which requires mac or windows.

> 3 dayOn both Bluetooth and wireless USB I have to keep my laptop in direct line-of-sight to the mouse, otherwise, the tracking is choppy. I have a dock at work that sits on my left putting my keyboard between the laptop and mouse. Im right handed. I had to rearrange my desk to have my laptop to my right with nothing between in order to get smooth tracking. That aside, I usually only buy wired mice because I dont want to futs with charging or batteries. This isnt an issue with this one. It has a great battery life! Im still on the first set of batteries and Ive used this for 8 hours a day 6 days a week for about 2 months now. I also dont turn it off at the end of the day so the sleep mode works great! The wake up time is almost instant so I dont have to shake the thing awake either. Id recommend this to anyone that needs a small travel mouse as long as they dont mind rearranging their desk to keep the signal strength. Though, Im sure this isnt an issue for the majority.

> 3 daySo far pretty happy with this mouse. It is rather small but comfortable, ideal for use as a second mouse to be used for trips, which is what I bought it for.

Greater than one weekThe good: -Mouse looks good and feels good. -Materials seem of good quality. The battery lid is held magnetically which makes it very easy to open and close. - It works very well when connected over 2.4 radio (using the includes wireless usb adapter) The bad -When connected over Bluetooth, it gets extremely laggy and clumsy. I’ve tried reconnecting it, re-installing razer synapse, changing the settings and the dpi sensitivity, all to no avail. -Sometimes it works ok and sometimes as described above, I have not yet figured out what causes this. -The razer synapse software required is very buggy on a mac (no idea how it fairs on a windows system) -No rechargeable battery Conclusion: I was looking for a Bluetooth mouse that I could connect to my touchbar macbook pro easily, hassle free and without occupying any of my usb-c ports. Where it not for the clumsy Bluetooth connection, this mouse would fulfill everything on my list. however, it is very unreliable over Bluetooth and therefore not a very good product for me. Being a razer mouse -razer is a great peripherals company with an excellent track record- I would expect a flawless product. If you plan to use this mouse using the usb adapter, then it should be a good choice for you. note* I’ve read that other users besides me were having similar problems even with apples magic mouse, so part of the problem could be on apple. This review merely states my experience using this mouse on a 2016 15macbook pro. Hope this helps!

> 3 dayIt has been everything I needed with a cheap mouse. I needed something that would connect via Bluetooth and I haven’t needed to change batteries yet. I’ve owned the mouse for 6 months and use it for a few hours every day for work. I bought a 2nd mouse because it’s served me well. I keep 1 at work and 1 at home.

Everyday Stuff Reviews
> 3 day2.4 GHz adapter works amazing. Great response, a smidge touchy for regular everyday stuff. Bluetooth is just ok. Had some issues with signal issues to my HP zenbook but need to test with other devices. Feels great and awesome battery life. Good portable everyday mouse.
