I have an older Onkyo HT-RC180. Ive been through 3 Onkyo remotes because the volume button keeps wearing out. So instead of buying another Onkyo remote for a small fortune, I tried this one -- and its great. Works with my older Onkyo and does the most used buttons. Doesnt cover different sound dynamics and fine tuning adjustments. But for the basics, it works great.

just got this on Feb. 27,2023 and put batteries in and tried it and nothing is working bought it because my original remote stopped working

My original 911R lasted for five years. This replacement works as advertised.

The remove worked fine. Just put 2 new batteries in it and the amp/receiver responded to it.
