Does the same thing the original did when new. I wish they would seal around the buttons better to prevent dust and grime from disabling buttons.

Normally you have to do a couple steps to setup your electronics especially when you have compatibility issues. All I had to do was add the batteries and it immediately worked with my receiver. No complaints on quality of product at this point.

I didnt have to program it. It worked right away.

My remote died as I was having a party, which was unfortunate timing. I replaced the batteries, and still, it didnt work. I used my cell phone to see if the IR was sending a signal. It was but it looked weak. SoI ordered this one, hoping that would resolve the issue. I was really hoping it would as I was not looking forward to replacing the receiver. I used the Onkyo app, but id did not have the same features as the remote. Specifically the button on the lower right (MODE) which is handing when listening to music and wanting to watch video at the same time. Something we do ever morning and during football season. Nothing better than listening to your music instead of the sports commentators! The delivery was QUICK and as soon as I added the battery, I had access to my receiver again! And my precious MODE button was working again!!! THANKS!

Have the Onkyo TX-NR575 Receiver out on the Lanai in the Sunny Sub-Tropic Gulf Coast of Florida. Things dont last in the Sun. Bought this as a replacement and it works just like the original. I will recommend.
